Dear Kariji

You are right we should expect rudraksha bead to be a "magic bullet".

I was discussing this with a friend of mine and she said that "rudraksha beads

have helped her to stand outside any problem and view it rather than be inside

the problem and see the solution"

This makes a big difference dosen't it karji?

Also it is nice that you liked the story kariji, simoneji too liked it ,if my

friends permit me I would try to post small such stories whenever possible.

Om Nam Shivaye

God bless you all,

Vipin

Agree with my sister. In addition, I think that in order to manifest the beads'

benefits,

one has to be entirely "open" to the beads energies. Some people may feel that

they

are open and receptive, but are actually fighting the energies.

Also, I have found that some people expect the beads to be a "magic bullet," and

remove ALL discomforts. Some karmic lessons and discomforts are necessary--

otherwise, there would be no point in incarnating-- but meditation and other

devotional activites, diligently practiced will, however, soften the lessons and

"show

us the way out."

Also, sometimes events manifest that APPEAR to be unfortunate, but actually turn

out

to be the very best and happiest thing. Example: I was recently laid off from my

job.

This appears to be unfortunate. However, because of certain circumstances, it

actually appears to be a manifestation of broken karma-- so it is really very

positive.

As is often said-- suffering as a reaction to events is optional.

Then, too, people start from different levels. They may be manifesting progress,

but

not feel it for awhile. Or, there may be a specific chakra block that takes time

to

remove, because it has become "seated" over many incarnations.

So..... I think the answer is complicated and highly individual.

Thanks! Kari
