Dear Respected Friends,

 

I know there exists different opinions on the wearing

of Rudraksha beads during the few days each month when

a woman is considered "impure" due to menstruation. My

questions are as follows:

1. Does the same prohibition extend to the chanting of

mantras?

2. Is there the same restriction on wearing a yantra

pendant?

and

3. What is the beej mantra for worship to Lord Ganesh?

Please give the correct pronounciations too. Is there

a specific process of puja? Which is the best day to

invocate and start?
