(Sigh) Yes, the Christian fundies are overlooking a key admonition from their

own

holy book, "By their works shall ye know them."

In other words, those who convert through intimidation or misrepresentation are

NOT

doing the work of God.

Hello dear friend,

Do you even know what you are talking about... it must be happening in Madurai,

a small city and such other small places....from which the political parties in

India are trying hard to gain some mileage...I have been to Churches, Masjids

and temples and I don't find any difference....even when I pray... sometimes

Mother Mary's face looms...she is so serene.... but there is one thing that I

have observed and that is most of the churches in India are manned with ... the

less said the better.. they are worthless and living lavishly out of donation

money..

Good evening,

this is a sad topic indeed. And its not only christian missionaries.

I have lived near Trivandrum of and on for 8 years and I would like to

add that in Kerala conversions to Islam are probably on a similar

scale. Gulf money is flowing in and its shocking to see small low cast

communities lacking basic facilities with huge new mosques.

sincerely,

christina

Hello All,

I guess some of you may remember the Stein case in Orissa. He along with his

children were locked inside their car and burnt alive by Dara Singh. He is

roaming scot free today on bail thanks to BJP and their goons. Actually, I am

also from Orissa but have travelled all over India on assignments. Our family is

very well known in Orissa State. So I take the liberty of writing about Late Mr

Stein; he was there with his wife for more than 20 years and he never converted

anyone but instead tought and fed hundreds of children in the most poor area of

Orissa. Why was he killed - political and extortion money - he used receive

money in dollars which these goons wanted and they demanding more and more over

the years. When Mr Stein refused to pay and went to the police he was burnt

alive.. but why his two sons?? People like Dara Singh should be shot dead on

sight.

Now think why is Steve Waugh feeding and taking care of more than 400 kids of

Calcutta. He has no such intentions of converting them to christianity, etc...

It is all politically motivated and yes it is true that people convert to Islam

or Christianity for work abroad which is a different thing altogether.
