Guest guest
FYI........................should we have any concern re: this information........ ThankQ Lada L. Baines Financial Assistance Officer Ministry of Advanced Education Student Services Branch Srinath Ram [srinath_atreya] February 14, 2004 6:24 AM Re: Parad Lingam || Jai Sadguru Dutta || Arunji, In my opinion, it is better for you to continue with your family tradition and customs. Parad lingam and Parad Shree Chakrams are not for householders. It is widely used by "mantriks" and "tantriks". The disadvantage/danger of idols/symbols made of "paarad" (mercury) is that it will be absorbing all the malefic affects of planets and effects of "mantra prayoga" on you by your enemies/opponents, and each time it protects you, it shrinks in size. The day it fully shrinks/dissolves, the owner of the idol will also drown in life, usually causing death. By and large, parad and rasa lingas are one and the same. Rasa sidhas solidify mercury on an auspicious day when there is a powerful combination of planets and stars, just with the power of mantras. This is kaliyuga and anything can happen. Nowadays we see the Shree Chakram being sold along side the roads, sacred mantras are loudly played through music systems in open etc. All that is prohibited by our scriptures are being done without any fear or regard. So, it is wise to adhere to the norms and customs of our Hindu Dharma. regards. , "arun_k_naik" <arun_k_naik> wrote: > Pranam. > > I have been performing Shivabhishek in my house on a small > Narmadeshwar Lingam. Guest guest
It is good that Parad Lingam and Sri Yantra absorbs the malefic effects of planets. However As it seems to be desolving one can merge them in ganges water and install new one. Can it be done? Just a query... Thanks. Guest guest
Yes. If someone can give scriptural reference to the shrinking of parad lingam and Sri yantra then it will good for everyone concerned. --- Rohini W <rohininj wrote: > > Hello, > > It is interesting to note that Paarad Lingam or > Shree Yantra shrinks in size > while protecting its owner.
