Guest guest
hi all i used to be a skeptic as well of the rudraksha. though i did believe that it had beneficial effects all the overly enthusiastic emails that abounded, i took with a pinch of salt. however all this changed recently. i meditate regularly with a mantra and a rudraksha rosary (108) to keep count. i also wear a custom mala. after my regular meditation i kept my rosary on my head such that the meru bead was near the ajna chakra (i.e. place between eyebrow just above it. dont know exact location but i think somwhere there). what happened next "blew me away". after a while i was chanting the same mantra. suddenly i felt the pressure increase in the ajna chakra. the meru bead then started to roll on my forehead and also started to oscillate i.e. i could feel it move in a clockwise motion. what you believe is upto you. i am not recommending any site or any rudraksha or any yantra for having this experience. try it for your own. regards fmd
Guest guest
Certainly it happens, Japa or meditation has got so much power than anything else.Concentration on meditation makes anything possible, that too if you do this with yantras or rudraksha it will have very fast effect. Guest guest
I was a sceptic, too. I started with one bead, which I wore as a pendant. I noticed heat in my throat chakra, especially at night. It was very warm-- almost hot, but comfortable. After a few days, the heat "mellowed out" to a comfortable warmth. As I gradually added other beads, I noticed other energy changes. I was, at the time, using Buddhist malas for meditation-- I didn't use my rudraksham for several months. Now, I use rudraksham for japa, exclusively. Not sure what to do with my beautiful, inlaid Buddhist malas. <g> Thanks, K. , find_my_destiny <no_reply> wrote: > hi all > > i used to be a skeptic as well of the rudraksha. though i did believe > that it had beneficial effects all the overly enthusiastic emails > that abounded, i took with a pinch of salt. however all this changed > recently. i meditate regularly with a mantra and a rudraksha rosary > (108) to keep count. i also wear a custom mala. after my regular > meditation i kept my rosary on my head such that the meru bead was > near the ajna chakra (i.e. place between eyebrow just above it. dont > know exact location but i think somwhere there). what happened > next "blew me away". after a while i was chanting the same mantra. > suddenly i felt the pressure increase in the ajna chakra. the meru > bead then started to roll on my forehead and also started to > oscillate i.e. i could feel it move in a clockwise motion. what you > believe is upto you. i am not recommending any site or any rudraksha > or any yantra for having this experience. try it for your own. > > regards > fmd
Guest guest
Re: scepticism-- I forgot to mention the most important thing, about the beads. I have always believed in the existance of Lord Shiva. But, I didn't know or love Him. The Personal Experience wasn't there. Wearing the beads (which I do, these days, almost 24/7), really DOES bring one closer to Him, over time. It just happens. One simply becomes increasingly aware of Him. One can feel His Presence more easily, often effortlessly. Not always during meditation.. at other times-- sometimes odd times. His energies are just suddenly almost palpable. Thanks!
