Guest guest
Namaste Rohiniji, How about using a few hair pins to clip the mala on? Be careful not to poke or damage the beads when using pins. Or using a hairband? Did you have the Parad bead custom-made? Oval drum shape? Parad- making is a highly involved process where mercury is solidified with silver, metals, herbs and 16 Samskaras performed. (This is all I know about the making process.) Taking into consideration the solidifying of mercury, moulding, melding, etc, cracks sound unusual (to me at least). And the hole widening over a period of time. Hmmm, you've given a lot of food for thought. Am pondering over this and shall come back later with a couple of guesses.. Can't see how you have done anything wrong that could result in the crack of your Parad bead. Also wondering if you have examined it closely to see if the crack is "flaking" of some sort. At the same time seeing you also have Parads of Shree Yantra, Ganesha, Shivling and Laxmi, and these are intact then the bead's crack is quite a mystery. Shall ponder some more and come back tomorrow (southern hemisphere time) regarding this. Please bear with me. Meantime, Shri DharmaDev, Kantiji, Kariji and all respected friends, would you have some thoughts to share regarding Rohiniji's cracked Parad bead? Shall highly appreciate your comments, thanks.
