Namaste Rohiniji,

Ajna Chakra is the "Third Eye" Chakra in the middle of the forehead

between the eyebrows. The glands are pituitary. The organs are

optic chiasma. Ajna chakra is the nascion juncture of nasal bones

and the frontal bone. Its association is the "Winged Globe"

or "Eye" or "Mind".

Some sadhakas who have a special Siddh Mala such as yours, would

also experiment with placing the mala on the head, with the 14 mukhi

touching the Ajna chakra while the Gauri Shankar reaches below it

while meditating. Some reported that they could hear high pitch

screeching or "noise" that spins their head out. If this is the

case, and if it feels uncomfortable, take the mala off and wear it

round the neck instead. The acceleration speed of the high mukhi

beads may be too fast for some individuals who try it "cold

turkey". It is advisable to gradually assimilate with high mukhi

beads and let them assimilate with one's energies in a sort

of "getting to know each other process" due to the rudrakshas'

magnetic properties.

About a Parad bead cracking, this is unusual. They may change color

on a person's body due to different temperatures and atmospheres of

the locations the sadhaks are in, and the person's body temps. But

a parad cracking is less common. Can you describe the crack? Which

part of the parad bead is the crack? If you are able to scan or

upload a picture of it to the Photos of this list, it would assist.

Alternatively you're welcome to send the pic to Shri DharmaDevji or

myself.

Just sharing a humble personal experience:

I have a parad bead that is worn all the time. Its hhhhhot in

Sydney (summertime now) and humidity + sweating is on the menu

everyday :) The bead hasn't changed color nor stained clothing and

neither has it cracked.

Om Namah Shivaya

Namaste Syji,

Thanks for the feedback and advice....I will try your suggestion. I have to

find a way to put the mala on the head, it keeps slipping!!!!

With regard to the Paarad bead, the crack is from one end of the hole to the

next. The craftsman had made a hole from one end of the bead to the other

end to make a locket out of it. It appeaqrs that the crack may have

developed while he was making the hole which may have widened over a period

of time. Yes, I have noticed the color of the bead changing over a period of

time.

For meditation, I fill a copper vessel with water, add some Ganga wate to

it, and immerse the siddh Mala along with the sfastik Yantra and Paarad Bead

strung in a yellow thread while chanting Om Namah Shivaya. Then after

shaking off excess water, I wear it. Then I take a 5 mukhi rudraksha japa

mala and immerse it in the same copper vessel and recite the mantra Om Namah

Shivaye 108 times. Then I take Sfastik mala and immerse it in the same water

and recite the mantra OM GUNG AIM HREEM SHREEM KLEEM HREEM NAMAH SHIVAYE

SHIVAYE NAMAH OM 108 times. I recite the mantra while focusing at the tip of

a Paarad Shree Yantra I have on the altar. In the background of this yantra,

I have Paarad Statues of Ganeshji, Shivling and MahaLakshmi. After the

meditation and praying for blessings, I take off the Siddh Mala and the

Yellow string with Paarad bead and Sfastik Shree Yantra then immerse them in

the water used during meditation, shake off excess water and place them back

on the altar. Then I take the water in the vessel and sprikle some of it

around the house, offer some to my family to drink and drink a few drops

myself.

I hope I am not doing anything wrong which may have contributed to the crack

in the Paarad bead.

Thanks

Rohini

Sounds to me like you have devised a beautiful way to honor your beads and bless

your home!

BTW-- I am enjoying the color changes in my beads, over time. My beautiful

ekmukhi

has turned a lovely caramel color. My brown beads are shading into the color of

dark

chocolate. My black beads are taking on a slight blue cast. It seems that as

they are

worn, as one exchanges energies with the beads, and as one oils and tends them,

they just get lovelier.

Thanks! Love, K.
