Dear Respected Satishji

Namaskar Mitra and many thanks for this Highly Auspicious Knowledge

Maybe this is why it is mentioned in the Book Rudraksa and Gems by Mr Anil

Gupta that if we wear the 11 Mukhi Lord Hanuman Rudraksa with the 10 Mukhi Lord

Visnu Rudraksa we are able to pacify all the planets 24 hours per day

We look forward to your continued participation here My Friend

Thanks and Take Care

Eleven Mukhi rudraksha represents Lord Hanumanji, It frees a person from all the

negative effect of nine planets when invoked.

Here how the story goes.

After demon king Ravana, heard that his sons Indrajeet, Mahiravana and brother

Kumbhakarna are killed in battle field by Shri Ram & Lakshman. He consulted

astrologers, who said that in his horoscope, the alignment of celestial bodies

is not in favour and will face death in hands of Sri Ram. So Ravana to change

his fate captured nine celestial bodies (sun, moon, mars, mercury, jupiter,

venus, saturn, rahu, ketu) and began a ritual that would force the grahas to

realign in his favour.

Vibhishana (Ravana's brother, who quit him & joined Shri Ram to follow path of

dharma) got to knew about this news he led Hanuman and army of monkey to place

of where ritual has held. Ravana did not arouse from his meditation when monkeys

started distrubing the rituals. Then they started troubling Ravanas numerous

wives, by pulling their hair and kicking them, still there cry did not distrupt

Ravana. Finally monkeys started troubling Mandodari Ravana's chief queen, whose

chastity as well known. Her cries made Ravana open his eyes, terminate the

rituals and rush to her defence.

Having successfully distracting Ravana, Hanumanji ran to sacrificial hall and

set the nine grahas free, from where they returned to their celeistial abodes.

For this gratitude, they gave him boon that whoever prays him with devotion,

will be free from there negative influences (planetary).

>From that day onwards Hanumanji is also prayed for liberator of negative

planetary influences. He was power over the nava grahas (nine planets). As a

child he mistook sun as a fruit and dashed towards it to eat it. While carrying

mountain of herbs he trapped the moon between his jaws and sun under his

armpits, as herbs were to be delivered before the sun arises and moon sets.

In many images Hanumanji is shown trampling a woman called Panvati with his

feet. She represents baneful astrological influences.

Hanumanji is worshiped on tuesdays and saturdays, which are associated with mars

and saturn. These two planets have most powerful negative affect. Mars

represents war and saturn death.

Hope members like this piece of story.

Jai Jai Jai Hanuman.

Namaste Satishji,

Thanks for this very endearing story! Enjoyed it very much :)))))

It makes me smile with delight because I adore Shri Hanumanji too.

It is said that He controls 8 planets with His mace and His tail

controls the planet Saturn. Saturn is also known as the "Great

Experiencer" or "planet of experience". The "death" mentioned at

the end of your story can also signify "death to this samsara"

but "birth in samadhi", like a kind of positive transition or rite

of passage. Altogether a wonderful story! Eleven mukhi rudraksha

also contains the 11 Rudras, a very powerful bead..

If you have more stories, please share them with us. Looking

forward to more! Thanks again Satishji.

Dear DharmaDevji,

I am not able to figure out how 10 mukhi rudraksha can pacifiy the planets. But

scripture cleanly mentions Hanumanji as liberator of negative influence of nine

planets. !0 Mukhi, is it because Shri Ram was besides Hanumanji in war. May be

someone can put more light in this matter.

With Warm Regards,

Satish

Hi Ladaji....!!

Wonderful to see you around again! Hope you have been keeping happy

and well. Congratulations about your four rudrakshas that are

beginning to grow! This is auspicious!

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra can be used for different purposes. In my

very humble understanding, it is a potent death-defying mantra and

also Lord Shiva's moksha mantra. As malefic influences from the

planets can interfere with life, health, prana, etc. some folks use

the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra for all their problems such as ailments,

disease, difficulties, to seek clarity of mind, peace, prevent

accidents, negative incidents, etc.

Whether a particular mantra overrides implications of planetary

afflictions or not, largely depends on one's rnanubandhana as nobody

can truly alter fate/destiny unless they first "alter themselves

within". Even the Rishis were subject to the ebb and flow of karmas

& rnanubandhana. Altering fate also requires many penances of

innumerable zillions of births.

It is known that Shri Hanuman Chalisa is great for removing ill

effects of planet Mars. Asking Lord Hanuman to prevent malevolent

planetary effects of the 9 planets, this is another matter. For the

bhakta who has done penances and has a 'connection' with Lord

Hanuman from preceeding births, He seems to hear prayers quickly.

Others may take a little longer, again due to rnanubandhana but like

most deities, He will come to the rescue when He decides we are

ready.

Something I've been pondering about:

--

There are people whose destinies determine how much or how little

they can have in this life. They worship only Laxmi but never think

to also worship Lord Vishnu who is Her husband. Goddess Laxmi gives

abundance and prosperity and then this slips through the fingers

very quickly (in with one hand and out the other). When Lord Vishnu

the Preserver is worshipped together with Laxmi, He preserves.

When worshipping Lord Hanuman, He dissipates many troubles. When

worshipping Lord Ram also (Hanuman is devoted to Him), Lord Ram

gives blessings. Seems to have a kind of "balance".

To Shri Rajeswaraji, Jaminiji, Satishji and other friends here: Any

additions, comments and advice? Your thoughts would be appreciated,

thanks.
