Guest guest
I'm sorry the links didn't work, because the items are very interesting to see. Looks like the seller lowered the initial bid prices, on two of the three offered items. The first bids were originally supposed to be $99, $89, and $49, respectively. This morning they are $39, $39, and $49. Somebody has bid on the $49 item. I'm kind of amazed that anyone night mistake the items for rudraksham. They are large, smooth balls, with shapes on top of nagas, and other icons of Lord Shiva-- as if those shapes are natural outgrowths of the "bead." They are clearly items made by artisans, but are being offered as rare, collector beads. Very, very obvious fakes. Interesting-- there's another auction by a different seller. The seller is offering beads made of "dried fruits." The seller "doesn't know the variety of fruit," but bought the beads in the Netherlands. They ARE rudraksham-- and the seller doesn't know it. <g> Opening bid is $1 for five beads. (BTW-- I wrote an educational note to the seller) I guess our work is cut out for us, folks-- gotta educate a lot of people. <g> Love, K. , "syzenith" <syzenith> wrote: > Namaskaram Sis Kariji, > > Goodness gracious me, 3 auctions of carved 'duds' the size of > oranges!
