Guest guest
Namaste Sundeep, Very glad to have made you happy. Had no idea you're in Canada! Must be rather cold by now, please remember to keep warm and eat well for winter to nourish the warmth within the body. Sending warmth from our Australian summer to you. Your revised list of days for worship sounds great. Sunday is also especially good for Gayatri and worship of the 12 Adityas. Just food for thought: When worshipping Lord Hanuman for example, one also gets the blessing of Lord Ram by extension. When worshipping Shiva, one gets by extension the blessing of Goddess Parvati. When worhsipping Lord Vishnu, by extension one receives blessings of MahaLaxmi, etc.etc. You are right that different parts of India have different methods of worship and rituals. Too many religious sects, groups, lineages, etc, etc. to mention. Each of these observe different ways. Best to do as your Inner Guru guides you. Meditate upon Him within You and guidance will come. You will sense it. By and large, certain deities like Lord Ganesha can be worshipped anyday, any time as the Lord of Categories in whose auspicious tummy resides the Universe. As Lord of Scribes, Patron of the Arts, etc. Lord Ganesha can be worshipped on Wednesdays as with Goddess Saraswati. There are 1008 Names of Lord Ganesha, select the Form dearest to your heart and go with this for a start. As things develop and you gain experience along the way, you will find the method that best suits you as an individual, then stick to it. Yes Tuesdays are auspicious for Mars and Lord Hanumanji. Yes too, about believing what your Mind and Heart feel right. That is your individual Inner Guru guiding you along. There are innumerable paths to God and all paths lead to the Summit with sincere devotion. Wishing you success in all endeavours, Jai Maa Sy in Australia. , "sundeep_babbar" <sundeep_babbar> wrote: > Dear Sy, > > I am really happy that atleast someone came forward to help me out > in clearing out my doubts.
