Guest guest
MahaDev ! Dear Friends As we start the New Year 2004 the Distribution of Rudraksa has taken a difficult turn. Last year saw many changes with the Maoist Guerillas takeing over the Dingla Bazaar area of Arun Valley that supplies the Holy Rudraksa from the Rudraksha Forest there and then the many new websites that went online to sell the Holy Rudraksa There were even a few that copied our website and started their own business as competitors This last harvest season a group of suppliers got together in Nepal and decided to encourage harvesters to pick the beads early so they could grab larger supply and more of the anticipated profits.......then once they secured what they thought was the majority of supply they started to raise the prices to the point of being ridiculous They continued to hold the higher prices of the lighter immature beads as Rudra Center continued to find the stock of mature heavy beads in Nepal This reminds one of the Tulip Market that went bust in Holland in the 1700s A result of all this manipulation has been that the new arrivals to Rudraksa Bead Distribution have faded into the background as many are not able to buy and supply at the prices and quantities required by the new order of organized suppliers in Nepal Now the suppliers are sitting with huge inventories of the lighter beads and they are requireing people to buy in quantities and with conditions that few can afford present purchase ratios of smaller Mukhi Beads that they require to be purchased before the 14 Mukhi and Higher Beads can be purchased are listed here 8 Mukhi 50 Beads 9 Mukhi 50 Beads 10 Mukhi 75 Beads 11 Mukhi 90 Beads 12 Mukhi 35 Beads 13 Mukhi 10 Beads 14 Mukhi 10 Beads Gauri Shankar Beads 150 This means if anyone needs 14 Mukhi Beads they are required to buy this entire lot or there is no purchase made Rudra Centre India has been able to move around this problem for this season by paying higher prices to secure the heavier mature beads from trusted suppliers.......Mrs Neeta has purchased all that were available and her suppliers have told here that the remaining beads are only the ones she rejected Due to these large purchases Rudra Center wont be buying anymore Beads from the Suppliers in Nepal this year. Thanks to Miss Neeta and her Families dedication we have enough of the Beads for the entire year now and we can wait for the new season in November........by November we look forward to seeing more reasonable prices as the suppliers who tried to manipulate the market in 2003 fade away into the distance Prices have increased on our Rudra Center website due to many of the reasons here and still Mrs Neeta has found the heavy beads for this season as we continue to be committed to Distributeing the Holy Rudraksa We look forward to 2004 as being a year of balance and Happiness Aum NamaSivaya Sivaya Nama Aum Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev
Guest guest
Namaskar This is a matter of great concern and should be seriously dealt with. I want to know by how much percentage will the price of 8Mukhi and above will increase at Rudra centre if the present conditions goes on even in whole year 2004. What about 3Mukhi to 7Mukhi? Since the rudraksha beads become heavy and matured on the trees only and it is the matured ones only which have natural holes in it don't you think that the light and immatured ones which don't have natural holes in it, which have been picked up by this suppliers are useless as they are not going to mature any more. Can't Rudra Center have its own farm of Rudraksha in Nepal and India as well so that there is no issue of such commercialised behaviour of these suppliers. This I am saying on behalf of so many people who want to seek Holy Rudraksha beads/Mala for spiritualism but cannot afford if the prices are going to rise high. Guest guest
Dear Friend Yes you are understanding this perfectly.......am fairly certiain Rudra Center prices will now stabilize till the new harvest is collected in about September to October and November of 2004 as we dont need to buy any more Rudraksa till that time We have our supplies for the year now......in answer to your question......the middle hole in a Rudraksa Bead starts to form from early on however the weight of the Bead increases depending on rainfall and time the Fruit of the Rudraksa is kept on the tree as the fruit matures......the lighter beads simply have lighter exterior protrusions than the heavier beads that have thick exterior protrusions and weigh more when held in the hand......also when held in the hand the more mature heavier beads are felt to have a higher energy field......some can actually feel the different vibrations at different levels from different Beads......The lighter beads still give the Blessing of Lord Siva and do their work for the wearer however they have a different look and different feel to them.......we normally dont work with lighter beads so I have not studied a lot about them.........if a person did wear lighter beads that might be similar to the Indonesian Beads then would be best to double up or triple up the amount worn to obtain similar effects of the heavy beads Yes we had thought about our own Rudraksa Farm somewhere in India however this takes a donation of land that can be held in Trust for at least 50 Years as it sometimes takes many years for trees to grow to maturity and then produce and many trees have to be planted to obtain the different Mukhis Hope this helps Wishing you and Family the Best of Health Happiness Success and Prosperity Thanks and Take Care My Friend DharmaDev In a message dated 1/5/2004 7:36:22 AM Pacific Standard Time, kdotkr writes: > > > Namaskar > This is a matter of great concern and should be seriously dealt with. > > I want to know by how much percentage will the price of 8Mukhi and > above will increase at Rudra centre if the present conditions goes on > even in whole year 2004.
