Guest guest
Dear Friends Siva Purana and SriMadDeviBhavat mostly speak of the Nepal Rudraksa and the Rudraksa Forest Beads that used to come from the Rudraksa Trees on the Gangetic Plain in the area of the State of Bengal....references state Rudraksa from Gauda Land became great favourity of Lord Siva........they state in references that the larger the Bead the more powerful......mid size is acceptable also and the smallest are the least What happened in recent history is that the Indonesian distributors of Rudraksa had a ton to sell each year so somehow the Holy Books were quoted in way that turned the Knowledge around opposite to the importance stated in the Holy Books the Nepal Beads and the Gangetic Plain Beads that are from the are of Gauda Land mentioned in the Siva Purana are the most powerful Beads for any purpose Hope this helps Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev
Guest guest
Dear Friend.......to be completely honest with you and no harm intended I am fairly certain you do like to disagree simply to keep the conversation going sometimes.....The Holy Rudraksa is the Grace of Lord Siva and they are His....the Siva Purana states the rules for wearing and other Knowledge that are specific to Lord Siva and His Rudraksa.....the SriMadDeviBhagavat backs all this up......Is OK if you dont wish to accept what is written about this subject in the Prime Holy Books for this subject however other group members need to know the Truth according to Siva Purana To simply say there are other Holy Books that say otherwise is really not good enough......you really have to state the exact Holy Book you are speaking of and identify the reference in the Holy Book End of conversation from this side Wishing you and Family the Best as always Thanks and Take Care DharmaDev In a message dated 12/17/2003 2:04:37 PM Pacific Standard Time, mahamuni writes: > Subj:Re: RBSC : Powerful Rudraksha according to Holy Books > Date:12/17/2003 2:04:37 PM Pacific Standard Time > mahamuni > Reply-to: > To: > Sent from the Internet > > > > I hate to disagree, but other scriptural and more importantly oral > traditions of sadhus and saints say something different than what you have stated. > - > AumShiningLotus > @

Guest guest
Dear Ladaji: >From what I have been able to grasp intellectually, the Siva Purana has more than one author and was complied at a gathering of the rishis, Suta, Shaunaka and Narada. It really can't be dated. It discusses the worship of Lord Shiva and the Power of Creation. Because these were high beings they went into states whereby the text comes not from them, but from Lord Shiva Himself. Take Care.
