Re: RBSC : What if rudraksha rule broken unaware

dear yahujatt ji,

om namah shivaya. i dont know if you regularly do meditation or puja.

rudrakshas are to be worn with respect and regard. lives of people have changed

who are wearing them. now coming to your question of resorting to wine or meat.,

the shastras say you should abstain from these activities. to be more clear i

would like say here--

there are say, two roads which lead to the happiness. and one road is smooth

and the other rough and full of stones and ups/downs. which one would u prefer?

obviously, the smooth one, if i am right. thats it.. your idea is to find the

smooth areas on the rough road and reach to the happiness. fine. go for it....

i would only say--- resort to achohol and meat once by wearing and the other

time by removing them. see the result. then decide yourself..

the LORD SHIVA is always with you. OM NAMAH SHIVAYA

OK, but some people like to have a drink now and then and don't have an

addictive problem with it. They may have one because they enjoy it. Maybe they

have a glass of wine with dinner because they feel it makes the food taste

better or the meal more complete.

I'm surprised the moderators let a comment like this through. We are supposed

to be kind to each other here, right? We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Dear Mahamuniji,

Working professionally with addicts, alcoholics, and their families, I think I

was quite rserved. I watch the deterioration of body, mind, heart, and spirit

that occurs with the use of these substances. I hear the rationalizations for

their continued use on a consistent basis, but they just don't hold water for

me. To try to solve a temporary problem, i.e. my current emotional state,

whether to highten a positive one, or to dampen a negative one through the use

of a substance that in the long run has these consequences lacks construct

validity. I have proven fro meyself and seen it in the lives of many others

that the use of of intoxicants and spiritual work do not go hand in hand, expect

maybe if you say that hitting a bottom and then moving into recovery is a

benefit. Rudrokshas are not an antidote for destructive behavior. Neither do I

believe that I commit a sin if I do something "negative" while wearing them. My

experience is that they tend to bring the consequences of my

choices more forcefully to the fore.

Just out of curiosity, what did Shiva do with the meat, after skinning the

animals, which he used as a wraparound..............being of the three

worlds....do they eat meat in the third world or the lower......than human

world.............

The same question for Rama........when in exile, Sita saw a deer and wanted

the skin of the deer for a jacket.............Rama killed the deer just so

Sita could have the skin.........so what did they do with the

meat................any thoughts...................[without getting

defensive].

Also if you are going to start eating animals, assumingly for the protein

(which as a nutritionist and 20 yr. vegetarian bodybuilder I know is totally

unnecessary usually), then why not just start with fish? Don't jump right

into beef.

RE: RBSC : What if rudraksha rule broken unaware

Could someone please kindly provide me with all of the rules.

I have had some health issues, and my doctor as asked me to seriously

consider eating meat, such as fish and chicken. If I do decide to eat

meat,

then does this mean that I wear the beads only when I do pooja????

ThankQ

Sis Lada

Have you tried vitamin supplements such as calcium, iron, starflower

oil, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, etc. etc. ? These may help. Best to

consult nutritionist - they have this pyramid-type food advice info

they should provide after assessing your condition. Do you also

experience fatigue?
