Guest guest
OK, but some people like to have a drink now and then and don't have an addictive problem with it. They may have one because they enjoy it. Maybe they have a glass of wine with dinner because they feel it makes the food taste better or the meal more complete. I'm surprised the moderators let a comment like this through. We are supposed to be kind to each other here, right? We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. - Arjuna Friday, December 12, 2003 7:13 AM Re: RBSC : What if rudraksha rule broken unaware Dear Mahamuniji, Working professionally with addicts, alcoholics, and their families, I think I was quite rserved. I watch the deterioration of body, mind, heart, and spirit that occurs with the use of these substances. I hear the rationalizations for their continued use on a consistent basis, but they just don't hold water for me. To try to solve a temporary problem, i.e. my current emotional state, whether to highten a positive one, or to dampen a negative one through the use of a substance that in the long run has these consequences lacks construct validity. I have proven fro meyself and seen it in the lives of many others that the use of of intoxicants and spiritual work do not go hand in hand, expect maybe if you say that hitting a bottom and then moving into recovery is a benefit. Rudrokshas are not an antidote for destructive behavior. Neither do I believe that I commit a sin if I do something "negative" while wearing them. My experience is that they tend to bring the consequences of my choices more forcefully to the fore. Don't jump right into beef. - Baines, Lada AVED:EX '' Thursday, December 11, 2003 11:37 AM RE: RBSC : What if rudraksha rule broken unaware Could someone please kindly provide me with all of the rules. I have had some health issues, and my doctor as asked me to seriously consider eating meat, such as fish and chicken. If I do decide to eat meat, then does this mean that I wear the beads only when I do pooja???? These may help. Best to consult nutritionist - they have this pyramid-type food advice info they should provide after assessing your condition. Do you also experience fatigue?
