Guest guest Posted December 6, 2003 Report Share Posted December 6, 2003 Yes Cindy Bhakti = Devotion to God; Surrender to God, Gods or Guru; Practice of devotional disciplines, worship, prayer, chanting and singing with aim of awakening love in the heart and opening oneself to God's grace. Bhakti is the foundation of all sects of Hinduism and yoga schools. This is all I know. Other friends here may wish to share their invdividual perspectives about Bhakti-- everyone's welcome to expand on the above definitions, thank you.
