Guest guest
Namaste Gary, Think Lord Ganapati, then how He wrote the Mahabarata with His tusk :-) Absolutely agree with Arjunaji's thoughts. Give you an off-topic example: In days of yore, Chinese imperial dynasties used ivory chopsticks, had ivory ornaments, artefacts, etc. for generations and millennia. Then they all got wiped out, period. Hari Om Sy , Arjuna <arjunaacharya> wrote: > Dear Garyji, > In my opinion buying any idol or product made of ivory is inauspicious. Most of the ivory available now is the result of poaching. Even if the piece you see is not, buying it tells the poachers there is a market for ivory and indirectly supports their efforts. Try a parad Lakshmi or one made of another material. There are even gold ones available if you want something like that. > Arjuna > > Shapeshifter12 <dna12@v...> wrote: > This question is offtopic, but I feel that the wonderful souls here > will give good feedback on this.
