Guest guest
Greetings, all. The ancients wrote on natural materials such as palm leaves, shells, seeds, wooden slats, etc. In the same way, according to some Indian traditions, the past and future history of all the universes is engraved by the hand of the Lord in a sacred and mystic hieroglyphic language on the faces of Rudraksha beads. This would be the marks we see on the seeds, the ridges and bumps that sometimes depict Om and Ganesha and various deities, as well as horses, camels, elephants, many strange beasts and interesting scenes. It would be interesting to meet seers and sages who can "read" the panels of Rudraksha seeds. Perhaps they could foretell the future and give guidance for living. Just wondering, does anyone know of more information about this line of teaching regarding rudraksha seeds? Regards, Ramlal

Guest guest
I don't think those types of seers and sages would need the Rudrakshas to foretell the future and give guidance to the living. They are already here and available to those that seek Them out sincerely. - "Ramlal" <conte <> Monday, November 03, 2003 1:50 AM RBSC : Rudraksha Hieroglyphics > Greetings, all. > > The ancients wrote on natural materials such as palm leaves, shells, > seeds, wooden slats, etc. In the same way, according to some Indian > traditions, the past and future history of all the universes is engraved > by the hand of the Lord in a sacred and mystic hieroglyphic language on > the faces of Rudraksha beads. > > This would be the marks we see on the seeds, the ridges and bumps that > sometimes depict Om and Ganesha and various deities, as well as horses, > camels, elephants, many strange beasts and interesting scenes. Guest guest
Namaskar, Agreed, Mahamuni, but Bhairava manifests through intermediate and material causes as well as by direct cognition. All is Shiva, all is Brahman. Hence His etching and engraving on the panels of Rudraksha seeds seems no less intriguing to us than the heights of nirbikalpa samadhi. Guest guest
Yes I agree but that was not what I was commenting on. I too find the markings intriguing but I was commenting on the sages and seers. - "Ramlal" <conte <> Monday, November 03, 2003 10:38 AM Re: RBSC : Rudraksha Hieroglyphics > Namaskar, > > Agreed, Mahamuni, but Bhairava manifests through intermediate and material > causes as well as by direct cognition.
