Hi Jorge & All,

The mala is 1 bead of each from 1-14 Mukhi and 1 Gauri Shankar and

Ganesha with 6 mukhis. I didnt wear my Siddha Mala yet with the 1-

mukhi. Need to get a silver lock, this bead came loose and was not

attached to the Gauri Shankar.

I have been told the way my mala was strung is Nepali style, with

reverse order of the higher mukhis from top to bottom. I dont know

if scripture says anything about it. I have to check if the beads

are strung mouth to mouth and tail to tail. I was told to wear the

even numbered mukhis on my right side. The artisan who strung the

mala did a mistake with the even mukhis and the mala came out like

this:

Neck/silver chain

13 14

11 12

9 6

7 8

Ganesha (6) 10

5 4

3 2

Gauri Shankar

1-mukhi

I was told this was not important, the important thing is that beads

touch the body. I am not sure about this.

I would appreciate if anyone could enlighten me if there are

definite rules listed in scripture for the bead configuration of the

mala and if I should restring myself asap? Also about the mouth to

mouth, tail to tail stringing of the beads.

Thanks,

Hello! Oleji:

Now I haven'tn read all of the messages, howeve, I Have a great layout for

sidha mala, I don't have it on me right now, will bring it in tomorro.

The pendent is one mukhi and the Gaurishankar.

And then on the right side start with 14 mukhi head toward Gaurishankar

and then 12 mukhi with tail touching 14 mukhi's tails, as the tails face the

tails and the heads face the heads, its not hard once you get this concept.

10 mukhi ,and then I have two 8mukhis, three 6 mukhi, three 4 mukhis, three

2-mukhis.

On the other side of Gourishankar

start with

13-mukhi head toward Gaurishankar

11-mukhi tail toward 13 mukhi's tail

9- mukhi

three 7 mukhis, three 5-mukhis, three 3-mukhis,

All the odd numbers on one side and the even number on the other side.

The larger mukhis start from Gaurishankar.

Once you get the heads and the tails sorted out it's not hard, the heads

always face heads, and the tail aways touch tails.

This is the layout of a 'sidha mala' for the ambitious, one can have all

their wishes and desires fulfilled with this combination, according to the

'ShivaPurana', now I have not read the Shiva Purana, but read the quote from

instructions for this mala.

I have been ill for the last two days, however yesterday morning my sidha

mala broke, right at Gaourishankar, and yesterday in the mail I received the

mala that Michele strung for me which was instructed by the Shastriji I had

consulted. So I restrung my mala in steel wire and have left it around

'Parad Ganesha'.

I don't know what the message is for me....whether to wear or not to wear

the shidha mala.

Good Luck.

Haribol Ladaji,

I believe you are referring to the "Special Siddh Mala"

configuration described and sold by Rudra Centre at

http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/htm/siddhmala.htm

and

http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/htm/siddhmalamore.htm

However, I think this bead configuration is a modern creation from

Rudra Centre...you see..nothing is said directly about that

particular configuration being taken from any Rudraksha scripture,

the quotes mention the necessity of 1-14 Mukhi with Gauri Shankar

and Ganesha and being strung face to face and tail to tail, that is

ALL. No scriptural reference to the necessity for multiple beads of

2-8 mukhi.

Thanks for your input. I have to check my mala closely and find out

if the beads have been strung correctly with face to face and tail

to tail.

Thnx for your response, I hadn't realized that 'RudraCentre' had this mala,

thnx for bringing it to my attention. I can't remember where I got my

script from, however, it did have quotes from 'Shiva Purana.
