Guest guest
Dear Members, Any possibility of color transformation in the rudraksha beads after wearing for a period of time, even with weekly application of sandalwood oil? I notice some of my beads are turning darker (btw look pleasing) – is this normal? Advice appreciated. Thanks Sim
Guest guest
Hi Simji: Yes I have heard of that happening. I member reported once that his beads were turning red :-) I think it has to do with a person's body chemistry and oils of a person's body and the bead. It will not adversely affect the potency of the bead. Take care, Kanti , "sim2bmindful" <simbernard4@h...> wrote: > Dear Members, > > Any possibility of color transformation in the rudraksha beads after > wearing for a period of time, even with weekly application of > sandalwood oil? Guest guest
Dear Kantiji Thanks for the info. Can this changing process damage the beads? Guest guest
Dear Simji: No the rudraksha changing color does not harm them in any way. Sometimes even oiling them causes them to change color as they are one color when dry, another after oiling. Have even seen some beads from Nepal that are bright orange. I am cerain were dyed and they are still quite powerful. Continue to oil your rudraksha as you are guided and enjoy them.
