Guest guest
Hello Members: Someone asked about plants sacred to Shiva and i've been able to dig up some information on the internet on Nagalinga Pushpa. Perhaps we could collectively research on other plants and post it here. Anyways here's some info. Latin Binomial: Couroupita Guianensis Kannada: Nagalinga Pushpa English: Cannonball Tree Apparently there are some on the campus of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (which is where i found the original reference). If you search on the latin name on Google you'll get a whole bunch of pages, but here's a few that have pictures. 1) http://www.albion.edu/plants/courgupg.htm 2) http://www.ibiblio.org/herbmed/pictures/p04/pages/cououpita- guianensis-2.htm 3) http://www.hortpix.com/pc1289.htm
Guest guest
http://www.gnosticgarden.com/articles/biodynam.htm The above containas an ethnopharmacological reference to that plant. Also, it is mentioned that the large, hard fruit shells are used as containers. , "surajraghavan2002" <suraj_raghavan@h...> wrote: > Hello Members: > Someone asked about plants sacred to Shiva and i've been able to dig > up some information on the internet on Nagalinga Pushpa.
