Guest guest
When I first got my Dhyan Yog Kantha I had some pretty clear and intense meditations. Then it started to wane a little and my mind seemed to become distracted by mundane things and rajasic impulses. I then realized that the Rudraksha will aid in concentration, but it is my intention that directs where that concentration is directed to! So, now I'm back on track. When I set down to meditate I direct my attention to pure consciousness and that is where it goes effortlessly. Ryan-
Guest guest
Hi Ryanji: This is a similar experience to the one we dicussed the other day with the 10 mukhi. The rudraksha are in essence Pure Light, so anything that is not of Pure Light within our continiuum is going to start coming to the surface in order to be released/ mental aggitation during meditation is a sign that this is occuring and you did the perfect thing to bring yourself back to center ! You are certain to have further adventures :-) Namaste Kanti In a message dated 3/14/2003 6:31:58 AM Central Standard Time, thestar777 writes: > When I first got my Dhyan Yog Kantha I had some pretty clear and > intense meditations. > > Then it started to wane a little and my mind seemed to become > distracted by mundane things and rajasic impulses. > > I then realized that the Rudraksha will aid in concentration, but it > is my intention that directs where that concentration is directed to! > > So, now I'm back on track. Guest guest
I've been having fewer problems with "the drunken monkey" since I've used the Shiva mantra that DD uses. It pulls me RIGHT down. Chakras light right up-- ding, ding, ding-- JUST like and ascending elevator. Still having problems meditating on the beautiful, energized, framed 8"x 6.5" Sri Yantra that I have also started to use. Maybe it's getting used to the visual. , "thestar777" <thestar777> wrote: > When I first got my Dhyan Yog Kantha I had some pretty clear and > intense meditations. > > Then it started to wane a little and my mind seemed to become > distracted by mundane things and rajasic impulses. > > I then realized that the Rudraksha will aid in concentration, but it > is my intention that directs where that concentration is directed to! > > So, now I'm back on track.
