Guest guest
I am new at this, but I can tell you that, yes, they beads can heal diseases (because they balance out the doshas). My life-long pitta stomach ulcer is gone. Yes, women benefit from the beads. I am a woman, and there are a number of other women, just on this l/s. One would, as DharmaDeva has pointed out, thinj that women would have a least as great a use for the beads, since we are the life-bearers. I started by wearing the beads according to Vedic astrology. But, I liked the effects so much, I ended up wearing between 1 and 3 of 1 through 13 mukhi every day. I do perform puja for my yantram, but not for my rudraksham. I think the exchange of energy between the beads and the wearer is sufficient. I also feel that the beads seem to be "born energized." Yes, the beads bring one closer to God, esp. Lord Shiva. Some of the beads are said to make one an incarnation of Lord Shiva, but DharmaDeva would be able to explain that-- he spends a lot of time with Lord Shiva. Suggestion: There is a wonderful book called "Rudraksha and Ratna" available on the w/s, that will answer all yor questions. There is also a TON of information about the beads on the w/s. And, several people have posted scriptures, and other sources of into to this l/s. If I were you, I would check out our archives, and visit http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com I think you'll find that all your questions will be answered. Don't know anything about tiger nails, because I'm Irish-American. Take care. , "Vijay" <vchhalla@r...> wrote: > Namaskar, > > Thanks for the inputs on the autheticity of rudraksha's. Guest guest
Namaste Vivekji and Welcome: There is no such thing as a poor, wrong or harmful combination of rudraksha. The combination you are describing sounds most excellent. The different faces of beads provide a synergy of beneficial effects for the wearer. Have found that use of mantra depends on each individual person. In general "Om Namah Shivaya" interacts with all facets of rudraksha as all rudraksha are manifestations of the Grace of Lord Shiva. Other mantras may be used according to individuals' devotion to particular deity of each facet. Please take the time to go through our Message archive as there is quite alot of valuable information. Guest guest
Namaste Vivekji: Can only go with my own experience with this. 13 Mukhi is the dwelling place of Lords Indra and Kama Deva. It has much to teach regarding the Power of Attraction and the Power of Desires. What I have observed is that these lessons can often times be difficult to learn :-) My own personal opinion is that unless 13 Mukhi is mentioned in a person's recommendation , it is best to wait until a person has lived with other rudraksha for awhile before enter into 13 Mukhi's reality and domain. 13 mukhi can be a magnificent Spiritual amplifier and I have used it in malas to amplify the power of other rudraksha. There is a saying in the United States that goes; "Be careful what you wish for because you might get it" :-) This sometimes is an inherant lesson with 13 mukhi. The light from Lords Indra and Kama Deva can show us that sometimes what we want is not for our highest good. That often times desires can be traps that lead us further into samsara as opposed to assisting us gain liberation. Lord Indra is the God of Thunder. If one gets too close to him without wisdom and insight, Lightening Can Strike. Lord Kama Deva is the Lord of Attraction. He can play with us and allow us to be come over indulgent ..He can also teach us how to allign our desires with the Light Of God. There is more information on the Rudra Center website on this mukhi. We have also had some very wonderful past postings here in the discussion group as well. I am in the process of Indexing the posts according to subject matter. There are some discussions in messages 14, 15, and 24. I know that there are some more recent. Haven't got that far in cataloging. They would be somewhere after Message 400. This is not doctrine. Just me talking :-) Om Namah Shivaya Kanti In a message dated 1/31/2003 12:19:24 AM Central Standard Time, mevivek7 writes: > Respected Dharamadevji and Kantiji, > My hearty thanks to you both for clearing my conceptions about the > powers of Rudraksha and other doubts. > I am really indebted to you for yours prompt reply. > Well, one more thing i would like to ask is that should i also go for the > 13 mukhi rudraksha..? > Is the 13 mukhi rudraksha needed for material benefits? and what are the > other benefits and qualities of 13 mukhi rudraksha....? > once again i'll like to say that i already possess 3,4,6,7 and 12 mukhi > rudraksha. > awaiting yours kind reply, > Regards, > Vivek Nashine >
