Guest guest
Kantiji, thanks for thinking of me, bless ya! Yes, new year eve in the U.S. is new year day in Ozland. Strong winds that nite and that spoilt the fireworks display. Heard they did another one last night off the Harbour Bridge. Though I can watch it from my balcony, the eyes wouldn't stay open; slept through the whole thing. Oz govt. spends lots of $$ putting up the displays each year. Same for Sydneysiders, few ever go to the Harbour Bridge or The Rocks areas for celebrations. Mainly folks from interstate, out of town or tourists from overseas and of course, new immigrants. , thunderheals@a... wrote: > I forgot.. > I thought of you Syji New Years Eve when television showed the beautiful > holiday fireworks in Sydney . > Funny, in New York City, the celebrations in Times Square are attended by > tourists only.
