Dear Skychildren,

 

Happy New Years Everyone! <;'D-I=

 

I am off for a week to the Longchenpa Rabjam Nyingthig Yabshi empowerment with

Terton Kunsang Dechen Lingpa in Vermont. I'll be back next Sunday.

 

For weeks I thought hey which beads should I wear to the event? I want ones I

can sleep with, and I wanted some that would support the function. I first

thought of wearing the two faced strand because they're most comfortable. I

hardly even notice them even when I'm sleeping. I went back and forth,

sometimes thinking of wearing my eleven faced strand, because they were what I

was wearing last week. Finally however I have settled upon my very expensive

strand of 12/12-12/13-4/14 faced beads. This is my most potent strand besides

the one faced. It's just what I want to wear, no other reasons involved. Even

though next to the Gauri Shankar kantha they're rather large and bulky, I slept

with them last night without too much trouble, so they will stay upon me for the

next seven days.
