Namaste

After going through the postings of members, I was wondering what would be the

effect of yantras eg Sri Durga yantra with one 9 mukhi Rudraksha on each side of

the yantra ? Would this combination coupled with the Sri Durga mantra, have an

effect of empowering or enhancing the portency of the yantra and or the

rudraksha ? Would this also serve as a kavacha to protect one from negative

vibes and entities whose origin we are not sure ?

Best wishes.

Friends,

Heard of this Traditional Yantra Puja somewhere and it just came to

mind:

Yantra Puja is quite (or rather) elaborate ritual and may continue

for 5 hours, depending on how you want to do it.

Place all your Yantras in groups. Each set of Yantras has a kalash

(brass or copper pot filled with sacred water) with a coconut and

different fruits, grains and betel leaves in front of it.

Yantras are then anointed with sandalwood paste, vermilion and milk

mixed with floral-scented oil. A white flower is placed on each

Yantra.

Ritual begins with 'Abhishek' (ceremonial bath) and worshipping Lord

Ganesh. Upon completion of Ganesh puja, each God and Goddess of the

respective Yantra is worshipped. Do this with recitation of a Mantra

for each individual Yantra. Example: for Shri Yantra, recite Shri

Mantra. For Gayatri Yantra, recite Gayatri Mantra.

Then make preparations for Yagna (sacred fire ritual). This is the

concluding part of Yantra puja. May take over an hour. Sandalwood,

fragrant herbs and pure ghee can be used as offerings to 'Agni'

(sacred fire), with recitation of Mantras.

Thus Yantras are then energised/empowered with vibrations of the

recited Mantras.

(That's all I can remember from watching one such ceremony in

Calcutta when I was 18; can't remember any more details.....)

Om Namah Shivaya,

Sy

We always have 7 of the 7 Mukhi Rudraksa sitting on a copper plate Goddess

MahaLakshmi Yantra in the west room of home and this generates continuous wealth

on all levels so I know this works

Others may know more about this however a Kavacha is created from a Specific

Mantra sequence that gives full Spiritual Armour and locks the Armour to the

Person Chanting

To date have not seen Rudraksa and Yantras used in the process of createing a

Kavacha

Would like to hear of your expereinces if you decide to work with the

synergistic effects of the Mantras and Yantras in combination with the Goddess

Durga Rudraksa

When placeing the 9 Mukhi Rudraksa on the Copper Plate would suggest useing 9 of

the 9 Mukhi Beads for maximum effect and also add a Sphatik Crystal Sri Yantra

on the copper plate to radiate the energy. These can be placed at night table

height on red cloth on all 4 sides of bed or on 12" pedestals covered with red

cloth on all 4 sides of a room and will radiate a totally protective field

There is a connection between Rudraksa and Sri Yantra found in the references

Nine Faced Rudraksa gives the wearer both devotion and salvation. There are some

articles in the world that give prosperity and some others provide salvation.

Both these characteristics are contradictory. The things that give worldly

pleasures can not give salvation. Practising rituals to worship the Shree Yantra

and the wearing of the Nine Faced Rudraksa give both the worldly pleasures and

the salvation

Hope others have some comments on this also

Thanks and Take Care My Friend

Dear John,

Pranaams

I tend to agree with DharmaDev Arya about the exception of Kavacha or

Kavacham. He has given you good advice about using 9 Mukhi and

Sphatik Shree Yantra. Hope you will keep us posted about your

experience with this ritual :-)

About Kavacha, I'll share some humble info in a new message.
