I was JUST now musing..... The reason why I am planning my bead use around the zodiac is that the Jyotishis-- by explaining Vedic astrology in terms of quantum-holographic unified field theory, have convinced me that that it is the thing to do, for this (or any) incarnation. > >What a magnificent tool, is Jyotish astrology! And, I found it quite astonishing! The chart correctly described my appearance, mentioned my two siblings, and my relationship with each. It referenced an accident, due to Ketu-Mars, that I had when I was seven years old (broken right arm), and mentioned the date of my first marriage. It said that I have two jobs, both intuitive, and one also heavily analytical, and am probably a dancer in one job (correct). It referenced the health problems and death of my mother, and that she was an artist (correct). The Jyotishis said that I was born to a father who was an abusive drunk, because, in an earlier life, I was co-dependent. In this incarnation, I had to learn to be very independent, and to avoid intoxicants. It worked. So, first of all, events that I had considered difficult or tragic, seen from a karmic perspective, become right, essential, and even amusing. THEN, they advised me that a VERY nasty period was coming up on November 7th. They advised my re: a remedy. I implimented that advice, then I "stumbled across" you folks, and also implimented the remedy that you suggested (some beads). Rather than getting BAD after November 7th, things seem to be getting BETTER! In fact, they got better THAT DAY! Of course, it's early in the mahadasa. But, I really think that, with use of the beads, with Lord Ganesha, and with other things, this upswing will hold. The Jyotishis told me EXACTLY how long this incarnation will last (which gives me time to plan). They pointed out "clearly karmic" planetary configurations, letting me know which lesons the planets were trying to teach me. I have thus planned my mala to enhance the planets (read: karmic energies) that need enhancement, and to pacify those (like a killer Mars) that need placating. I frequently ask the advice of the kind and generous folks on this l/s, to that end. You know, having one's Jyotish chart is JUST like having a screenplay of one's life, including all the characters, the plots and subplots, the props, and a special list of "playing pieces" that one can use. And, with that knowledge, one can use the sacred energies of the rudrakshas to COMPLETELY remap those cosmic energies. It's quite amazing! I mean, I'm flabbergasted! I mean, how empowering is it, not only to have the script for this entire incarnation, but to be able to rewrite large sections o
Guest guest
www.cyberastro.com I ordered the life chart and the Mars impact chart. They have samples for viewing. The life chart told me a LOT. But, I learned a lot of ADDITIONAL stuff by looking up the chart configurations in books by other Jyotishis. There is, BTW, a GREAT little book on the karmic implications of the Rahu-Ketu axis. Ketu placement will tell one about unresolved issues from PAST lives. Why one chose the parents that one chose. The Mars impact chart is a special tool, particularly for Indians who think that they might have a Manglik dosha. I gather that Manglik dosha is a SERIOUS matrimonial consideration. The interesting thing about THAT report is that it tells one how martian influence is OBSTRUCTING one, and how it has GIFTED one. I also ordered a compatibility chart. It said that my fiance and I aren't well suited, but really enjoy eachother. Oh, well! One can't have it all!<g> The important thing to Indian astrology is that one must know one's time of birth. If one has a general idea, the astrologer can rectify the chart, if one tells him/her when an improtant event (such as a marriage, birth of a child, etc) occurred. Westerners use the "sun sign" as primary indicator. Indians use the "rising sign" (lagna). Warning: The best way to find out one's birth time is to ask one's mother. The times recorded on the birth certificate are often hastily estimated by a tired nurse, after dr. has delivered a dozen babies. I knew my birth time (from my mother). But, as Indianapolis, IN goes per EST or CST by the COUNTY, and this changes, the chart still had to be slightly rectified. BYW-- The REALLY valuable thing about the Jyotish charts is this: I discovered the karma that I had been born with. I also discovered to what degree I had CHANGED, as a person. I found that, as a result of Western metaphysical training, I had burned a TON of karma. I also learned that I was OVERLOOKING OTHER karmic lessons. So, I was able to correct my course. And, that pursuit also brought me to your group-- from which I feel I have benefitted greatly. So, the charts gave me my whole life plan, including progress and direction, at a glance. EXACTLY like having a college class syllabus, and grade reports. Mine was so accurate that the parts Iread to my friends and sister gave them chills. Some of it was too close and too intimate to read to anyone. And, I agree with Kirk-- I think we were born at this time, and we have these metaphysical leanings, because we are older, and have karma to trash THIS time. And, since Jyotish astrology, unlike Western, is karma-based, one can ask questions such as: What is my main purpose, in this incarnation? What is the most important lesson that I am expected to learn? How am I getting in my own way? Love to all you folks! Guest guest
Namaste Kari, DharmaDev, Janaki & Friends, Visited cyberastro.com and they have this free membership. Checked a few things and found I've got 70% Mars - Manglik....! Shockers! No wonder things had been so lousy over the years.. I've got this wild fire within and could only keep it under wraps (to keep peace) with meditation and surrender to circumstances beyond my control. Seeking advice and recommendations about which rudraksha mukhi to wear. All comments deeply appreciated, thank you. Guest guest
Good question - myself/mars/scorpio/third house/yikes! Not sure myself as I have too many beads of most faces to be sure which do what any more. However, for myself the mars aspects 100% my moon, so these two complement, specifically. The mars/drug angle would be an effect in the chart of trying to self medicate or balance this agressive and disharmonizing planet. That was a form of reversed karma before, now rudraksha, meditation, prayer? We try to correct karma however possible I think until it's just overwhelming, then we give up. Either way some solution presents itself, as long as we are open to it. 3 faced is a direct hit. 2 faced can still ripples coming back to the heart and mind. Ten faced of course for getting rid of all planetary influence. 13 faced for removing obstacles to desire fulfillment, to make one less frustrated. Just some ideas. Should look as 100 and 75 percent aspected houses and their rulers and planets too. - Syzenith <syzenith Sunday, December 08, 2002 3:59 AM Re: Would be great to hear from anyone who has experience with Namaste Kari, DharmaDev, Janaki & Friends, Visited cyberastro.com and they have this free membership. Guest guest
Only thing is.. the Indians taught me that Lord Hanumaan is the only solution to the manglik dosha. So, maybe better use an 11, too. One traditional Indian prescription is "sing the Hanumaan Chalisa every day." Yeah, like we European types (except maybe Mr. D.) can DO that. <g> , "Kirk" <kirk_bernhardt@c...> wrote: > Good question - myself/mars/scorpio/third house/yikes! Guest guest
Greetings Kari, Thanks for the tips, I need them real bad. You must be psychic too! You see, this aspect of Morrigan has run through my life and I fought it to prevent myself getting on the war path where I know I would leave destruction in the trails for many people who truly deserve it. Instead through meditation, I've managed to keep the fire under control, bottled up the fires within and to keep peace and Ahimsa (non-injury even through speech, despite the fact that the people involved had done wrecked havoc in major ways). But the warrior is always at the back of the mind, the subconscious and sometimes the conscious. This is a mistake (the complacency, non- action, submission, like a mouse instead of being the tiger who roars). In retreating like a mouse, it has been despairingly detrimental to the wellbeing, finances and just about everything. Many have counseled me to "stand up for myself". If I do that, I would be like Kali the Destroyer who will leave no stone unturned. And I don't want to gain by destroying the adversaries who made huge gains at my expense. Rather I prefer they move on, have a good life and forget me. By ignoring the call of Morrigan, I've been reduced to being a "shell" of my former self. What high price for peace, but I paid it. Wonder from Downunder? Dear sister, you are kind. Wish I can take the compliment and agree... but alas...... must confess: The school of hard knocks resulted by drowning the fires within and ignoring Morrigan's call. Thus, I'm the "deadbeat" downunder (who is trying to resurrect what most would call "a life"). Many blessings to you, Sy , "karisprowl <karisprowl@e...>" <karisprowl@e...> wrote: > What say, folks? Thus, I'm the "deadbeat" downunder (who is trying > to resurrect what most would call "a life"). > No, you are no "deadbeat." You just have too much current, friable "wiring," and too little "insultaion." If I were you, I'd try the beads. Yantras work well, but they have to be recharged. The beads don't have to be charged, at all. They "even out" your energies. So, instead of "wildfires," you have this nice, pervasive overall warmth. Fewer "burning power surges." More like a "warm, steady electrical current." Like a warm river, rather than molten lava. They also seem to help with perspective. You may not end up ideally serene and objective, but you WILL be able to sit back and let what "goes around, come around" without having to expedite or catalyze. You'll be able to wait for the malefactors to braid their own nooses (which they will inevitably do). If you wear a nine, for protection, they'll do it FASTER. I once, recently, a week after starting to wear a nine, observed some negative energy that was directed to me wash back on the sender-- BLAM!-- within the HOUR! Now, that's fast karmic return! It is often said that if you sit by the river long enough, you will see the bodies of all of your enemies float by. The beads give one the perspective and "evenness" to wait by the river. I promise you, the view is highly amusing. <g> > Many blessings to you, > Sy And to you, K. > > , "karisprowl > <karisprowl@e...>" <karisprowl@e...> wrote: > > > What say, folks?
