Guest guest
Namaste. For myself as well as recommendation s I have done for others... I have stayed away for the most part from astrology. I know that this has been a traditional use of the rudraksha, but has been much more beneficial for myself especially to approach the rudraksha from the perspective that the individual facets are emanations of the Divine via specific Deites. I truly believe that each mukhi is such an emanation of the Divine..as mentioned before, a murti, a true form. We are in the presence of God and having darshan when we wear them. So if Creator sustains and orchestrates the movements of the planets.... It is our birthrite to enter into a consciousness and a reality that is higher, greater and more powerful than the planets. It just seems to me that to focus on this or that malefic planet in one's birth chart is limiting whereas the rudraksha are all about empowerment and boundlessness. Just seems too limiting and confining to box the rudraksha into astrological catagories. Mother Father God is omnipotent and unlimited. Those same qualites have been given to us as Divine gifts in the form of the rudrakshas If one is concerned about their chart, they wear 10 mukhi. I hope this isn't too radical of an approach to rudraksha usage..but has been the way I have interacted with the beads from the very beginning. Thanks. Guest guest
You know..It is a matter of perspective, actually.. We all have karma because that is why we are all here. Karma is indicated in astrological aspects. There are specific rudraksha to over come specific malefic planets. So its just like when a person has a specific disease, they are given an antidote, a remedy to cure the disease. So the rudrakshas are there to cure and irradicate the karmic circumstances presented in the Chart. If presented in this Light..such an astrological presentation would actually assist a soul on the road to liberation. There is a rule in Flower Essence Therapy : Treat the person not the disease... so what is important here is that a person not identify or "own" the astrological aspects.. but as you say..see it as curriculum and know that with the Grace of the Divine enshrined in the beads..one can "graduate" form the school of the incarnation.. sometimes quite quickly..the rest of the time here then could be recess. :-) If specific rudraksha are there to assist individual then that means that the person has a resonance with that aspect of the Divine represented by that mukhi. Tantra in its highest form is the ability to generate oneself into the Deity..so within the individual is that spark of the Divine that will insure their overcoming. Just had that flash..enuf preaching from Missouri. :-)
Guest guest
Dear Miss Kanti Your consciousness and awareness in all this continually accelerates the Knowledge Thank you for this perfect message DharmaDev thunderheals <thunderheals <> Saturday, December 07, 2002 4:41 PM Re: Rudraksa and Jyotish Astrology Yes, have found that the rudraksha far outweighs gems in potency and power. However, have also found that the gems seem to assist us in receivng the the Grace contained in the beads in the way that they can bring balance and harmony to the system. Also just scored a whole bunch of amethyst yesterday ..so am having fun combining with rudraksha. By all means jyotish astrology is a wonderful starting place...but it is very easy for an individual to get boxed and confined by astrology..East or West. I feel that we are more than our astrological charts and that we have been given the tools that burn the karma that is represented in natal charts. There is a Shaivite scripture called the Sri Skanda Purana that teaches that the Grace of Lord Shiva can pull a devotee out of the entrapments of the planets and burns away all karma. It was something that I read and studied and chanted daily 20 years ago and it has always stayed with me. In fact, 20 years ago I was working professionally as sidreal astrologer and gave the practice up as I really found that I had to make a choice where Truth was for me..in an ephemeris or in the Vedas. I saw too many people I worked with trapped in fear and being completely disempowered based on what an astrology chart said. I just suggest that the notion be considered that Rudrakshas have their basis in the Absolute although manifesting in the Relative sphere of existance that they can and do pull us out of any karmic circumstance. The spiritual acceleration that the rudraksha empower us with completely changes us to a cellular level. To coin phrases from Christianity..we do indeed become new creatures, we do become born again into a new life because karmic patterns can be completely and totally removed...the past becomes just that ..something that is over and gone. We can graduate from this incarnation while in this incarnation. That's what is so great about this group because we are all scratching our heads and looking around and wondering what's happening..because there isn't anything else like rudrakshas on the planet !! :-D Everyone's experience of the individual mukhis are going to be subjective and somewhat different from each other because there is a huge variety of experience we each bring into the moment that we first discover them. But there is also a commonality and a bond because these powerful changes are happening and usually rather quickly. :-) (9 Mukhi is Goddess Durga, whose form all Devis, including Sri Lakshmi, Spring from, all Creation springs from. Guest guest
> For myself as well as recommendation s I have done for others... > I have stayed away for the most part from astrology. > *****Wow...thanks Kanti, I tend to view this very similarly. Not to take away from the help astrology provides, I still am not one to rely to heavily on it. When it comes to recomendations, I have faith in the one recomending's knowledge and empathic abilities. Also, of course, the needs of the one asking for the recomendation. > I truly believe that each mukhi is such an emanation of the Divine..as > mentioned before, a murti, a true form.
