Guest guest
Dear Miss Yes of course makes perfect sense Thanks for clarification Take Care My Freind DharmaDev Syzenith <syzenith <> Sunday, December 01, 2002 1:20 AM On Enlightenment,Maharishi Namaskaram DharmaDev Arya, Read his book a long time ago but can't recall the contents. Lent the book to a friend and it never got returned. So I can't comment about "Upa Guru". Very humbly, my understanding of "Adi Guru" begins with the terms "by the side of" and "with". As in the 'teacher within' or "inner voice", "inner guide"; Accessible through meditation, contemplation, visualization (dhyana), devotion, puja and mantra. Adi = Primordial. Adi-Guru = The Father, Wisdom, Shiva; emanating in the heart and 'higher mind'. But very few mortals find the true "Adi- Guru" because that is when they no longer need to practice for they've attained. Its like "To know others is wise, but to know Oneself is enlightenment". Hope this "gurgle" above makes sense.
