Guest guest
Namaste Kanti, Couldn't agree more with you and about the Chinese atrocities commited in Tibet. Unfortunately the "China Chinese" (Communists) regard Tibet as being part of their land. Since ancient times (warlords, feudal lords, etc.) the 5 main races in China are known as "Han, Moon, Mong, Wui, Zong" (respectively: Han Chinese, Manchurian, Mongolian, Turkic/Islamic/Mughal, and "Zong" is Tibetan). During imperial times when emperors ruled (dynasties), Tibetans (once fierce expert horsemen until Buddhism arrived from India) were highly revered and many were bestowed special titles and honors by emperors. The Dowager Empress and subsequently the "Last Emperor" respected Tibetan Lamas. The "Qing Dynasty" ended with Nanking occupied by the Japanese and later the Emperor Pu Erh persecuted and imprisoned by Chairman Mao. His Red Army invaded Tibet. It may be quite interesting to note that the Shaolin Temple, citadel of all Chinese fighting arts (including Tai Chi, Chi Gong, etc.) was also destroyed through millennia on and off, their scriptures and sacred objects burnt, monks killed, etc. If my memory serves me right, the nearest township to the original Shaolin Temple is "Luoyang" where the populace included Moslems and Turkic peoples. Back to Tibetan Buddhism, you are right, Truth is Truth. And truth lives in the hearts and souls of people who believe/see it. Long Live Tibetan Buddhism in All Its Forms!!
