Guest guest
I don't think sandlawood oil is edible, but there are sandalwood-scented edible body oils. Try the bath and body shops and adult gift shops. There's a line of edible perfumed oils called "Kama Sutra.' , John Tan <bejohn46> wrote: > > Hi > Anyone know of edible sandalwood oil ? > one_kamal <one_kamal> wrote:Hi Kari, > I was gonna post a similar question. > I have read that you should soak the mala in water with a mild > detergent, and then after drying, brush the beads with mustard oil or > sandlewood oil. > My question was where can you get good quality sandlewood oil, all > I've ever seen is the perfume oil. > Namaste, Kamal > , "karisprowl" > <karisprowl> wrote: > > What oils do you folks favor for soaking the beads? > > > > - > > > > > > > > > > Web Hosting - Let the expert host your site > > [Non-text portions of this message have been re
Guest guest
Well yeah, for one it would take alot of pure sandalwood oil to coat a large mala of beads, and also people would smell you blocks away. It must be diluted with inedible oil. Neeta sent me some Mogra once which is a type of flower fragrance used alot in the West in suntan lotion fragrances. It smells great and I have used it diluted on some beads. I find it pleasant. I think Siva likes sandalwood because it's cooling and sattvic, but I don't think one has to be limited to it. Any nice scent should be ok as an offering. Rose, Jasmin, etc...
