Guest guest
Namaste Kariji, 1. Panch means 5 in Hindi, and mukhi is face 2. I don't have a clue. I have heard that rudraksha should always be touching the skin when you wear them. Are you wearing your mala over or under your clothing? When I first put my mala on I felt really peacful. Now the more I wear it, the more energy I can feel in it when I pick it up. I keep it near my Siva Linga when I'm not wearing it. It feels great against my skin. I usually just wear mine on Mondays and Thursdays, and on the other days I wear 3, 5mukhi beads. Do you clean your mala once a week? I read that it should be cleaned that often. I have not cleaned mine yet. I will as soon as I get some sandal oil. best wishes, Kamal karisprowl <karisprowl wrote: 1) What is "panchmukhi?" What does the word mean? 2) A "siddhi mala" is different how? I know what siddhis are, but how does the mala differ? BTW-- I've only been wearing mine since 10-20. But they DO make a noticeable impact on one's energies, don't they? I'm getting so I don't want to take them off at all, except to bathe. I DO notice that I'm sleeping a bit too much. But since I've always been a tad insomniac, I reckon that things may be "evening out," temporarily. And, one of them is an 8-mukhi, which works on sleep issues. Living in So. CA is helpful, as Dharmadeva can tell you, to wearng them openly. Here in the L.A. area, Westerners just think they are "very cool accessories." <g> It IS however, good to be able to drive one-handed, if one is going to wear them all the time. They are pleasurable to touch, and one reaches for them. without Web Hosting - Let the expert host your site

Guest guest
Do you think mini hand drill with drill bits of 0.5mm to 3mm could prevent the cracks or chips ? thunderheals wrote:They are very, very sturdy ! :-) I made a mala awhile back where I had to enlarge the hole in some punch mukhis. In doing so, a few of them developed cracks or chips. I was having a difficult time recovering from the stomach flu and had read that 5 mukhi crushed up was excellent for relieving many kinds of diseases. Took forever to crush those little guys with a hammer..Laying on them won't hurt them although depending on how many you have on.. sometimes is not comfortable for person..but if you are wearing as pendant or choker that's fine. Remember in stringing to include some kind of spacer between the beads to avoid abrasion and if you can figure out which is the head and which is the tail, string head to head and tail to tail if possible..due to electro magnetic qualities. Gold, silver, crystal, pearl and coral are best spacers that are easiest to get. In a message dated 11/17/2002 6:43:39 PM Central Standard Time, karisprowl writes: > How sturdy are they? Guest guest
Hi. Actually, using just the drill bit manually prevents most cracks and chips. Before was using screws and small nails and hammer..was ok, but not fool proof Thanks :-) In a message dated 11/20/2002 5:12:49 AM Central Standard Time, bejohn46 writes: > Do you think mini hand drill with drill bits of 0.5mm to 3mm could prevent > the cracks or chips ? >
