Guest guest
Namaste, Look also in our archives here at the discussion group..I think around May we had some good experiential discussion on both beads. Have personally only worn 14 mukhi on siddha mala..so can only pass on what I know intellectually or have heard from others. It does awaken one's "inner vision", one's "psychic vision"..the ability to see the ramifications of a decision BEFORE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE. Scriptures state "wearer forsees future happenings and never fails in decisions." >From what I have observed it is a good idea that when wearing rudraksha of higher facets of 13 and above.. to have support beads of lower faces to support the energy. Problems that I have heard stated about 14 mukhi is wear can easily fall into a "meditative couch potato" in that ones sees all the wonderful possibilities but stays in visionary mode and not get into doing any thing to implement these visions into reality so a support would recommend Lord Hanuman 11, the spiritual warrior and perhaps the powerful fire of 3, 5 or 12 mukhis. 9 Mukhi is just the opposite as I fear that my experiences are so personal and subjective that perhaps not everyone will have the same effects. 9 Mukhi is Goddess Durga and in reality represents all of the many faces and manifestation s of the primal Divine Feminine. This rudrkasha provides ultimate protection ..from..gosh what were we just talking about???... magic, psychic attack..It is good for anyone who feels that they are being drained energetically by others. Scriptures state that "wearer gets blessings from Shakti, the Supreme Mother and bead gives devotion and salvation. Upon receiving my original recommendation from Rudra Center ..this is the ONE bead that was recommended to me with 11 mukhi as possible support. In terms of personal empowerment and spiritual growth not only have I been able to recognize the qualities of Shri Shakti in the guise of the many Goddesses but have had the direct experience of those qualities within my self and see myself slowly each day melting into that ultimate reality of Her and only Her as Jnaneshwar Maharaj described as "salt melts into the sea". Have recently made a mala for a devotee of Goddess Lalita and we used the 9 mukhi as that Meru bead..so am seeing that 9 mukhi does indeed enhance Shakta Bhav in all who would love Her...regardless of the form So enough rambling from here.. Hope this gives you an idea,,, and hopefully we'll get some more sharings. Om Namah Shivaya Kanti
