Guest guest
...if I talk too much, just ask me to shut up (my birth star is Mercury-ruled). About 12 weeks ago, I "stumbled" onto a Vedic astrological w/s. I purchased a life chart, out of curiousity. The first thing that startled me was a specific reference to an accident that I had during Ketu/Mars, when I was a little girl (I had almost forgotten about my broken right arm). Lots of OTHER specifics rang true, too. I can't fault Western astrology. It's really admirable, as far as it goes. But, it doesn't deal with karmic patterns (which is, of course, the WHOLE point), and it isn't as specifically predictive. At first, I was a little disappointed that my birth chart wasn't more positive. Lots of "karmic planetary configurations." Then I realized that this is a "working" or "learning" incarnation, and the planetary configurations are offering a lot of opportunities to "clean up old karma." My birth chart seems to be, in effect, a "lesson plan" for this "semester" (incarnation), with "homework assignments." The best part is that, without knowing, I had already dealt with a lot of old karmic problems (which is, of course, the point of setting up this incarnation's "challenges"). The timing of my "stumble" onto the Jyotish w/s is interesting, too. I wsa just a few weeks away from a serious Rahu problem. I found out in time to take propitiatory action.
