removal of sins

Somewhere back someone mentioned that wearing rudrakshas won't remove

sins, but I'd have to disagree:

If you take the perspective that our actions are stored in the subtle

parts of our mind (aura) then certain actions and items may help to

remove or burn away the non-fixed sins (papas) just like astrological

remedies can lessen or remove non-fixed bad karma.

Many religions have certain rituals that one can go through to be

cleansed of all sins, although many times it does depend on the

person's faith (the belief that it's possible):

1-Muslims--praying the Haaj (holy pilgrimage) according to the rules,

supposedly cleans oneself of all sin

2-Christians--baptism removes sins; in earlier times people would

wait till later in life to be baptized so they could have lots of fun

and then have their slate wiped clean

3-Catholics--praying at certain pilgrimage sites, such as entering

St. Michael's Cave with faith and a pure heart, will remove all

sins. Similar reduction of sin's effects can be done at various

other sites, following certain procedures and praying certain prayers

4-Hindus--Ganges River: Those who bathe, with faith, will be

cleansed of all sins.

But just because one is cleansed of sin, doesn't mean you won't

accrue it before you die. In other words, the wise person will be

extra careful after going through one of the above processes of

cleansing.

I can't remember where I read it, but I like the example of

rudrakshas acting like a lighting rod for a house. As you

experience bad karma (due to the planets), wearing rudrakshas on

various parts of your body, helps to absorb/deflect the brunt of the

force.

just my thoughts,

tom

Namaste

There is not one sin that the Rudrakshas will not remove - now this

does not give one the right to commit these acts - these sacred

objects will not come into the lives of those that do not deserve

them and their Blessings.
