People all aspire to do right just as you yourself though a Brahman still also aspire to do your best. People can all only do what they sense to be correct. There's no point telling people who eat flatbread every day to eat rice when there's none available. I seriously doubt that prescience of a place called America is part of Vedic knowledge, except insofar as we would be considered mlecchas for eating meat here. But what are we to do, fall down dead for shame? We all just have to do our personal best, and perhaps strive for perfection during the game days. Just as Olympians practice their personal best most often and push for their perfect record on the game day. As for sex I'm pretty sure we don't wear Rudrakshas when engaging apana vayu for long periods like during sex. In tantra however perhaps rudrakshas may be worn for panchmakaras. I am a Brahmin by birth and I am strongly in favor of the eating habits prescribed - no meat etc. Just because you have a good life does not mean the way you are living is good. Just because you are a vegetarian and are leading a devout and peaceful life does not mean everybody who follows your eating habits could get to lead a peaceful life. The scriptures prescribe different Rudrakshas for different types of people,White-Brahmins,Brown-Kshatrias,Red-Vaisyas and Black-Sudras. But prescribes only one menu for all of them :-), this is what I was confused about ... The whole and sole reason for raising those points was to get knowledgeable replies that would further my learning. Most learned men in this group will understand it, My humble apologies to the rest.
