Guest guest
As we all know tantra deities overlap depending which shakha one holds with. One may worship all the deities through any form of tantra. Tantras are mainly divided into Vishnu, Shakta, Ganesha, Surya, and Siva. Each system posits its deity as the One all and be all. They are all right. Not the question. A great mind can accept open ended situations without needing closure. Hinduism and tantra create great minds. It's what Keats called "Negative Capacity" in his letters. The state of being able to live in the mental eye of the idea typhoon. Shakta tantra has many schools just in itself. There are Sri Vidya, Dashmahavidyas, Lakshmi, Kali, Tara, Lalita and other schools as well. But to cut to the chase my point is that different deities are overlapped in Hinduism. Remember Hinduism is an English term for a vast many systems of philosophy which no one mind can fully grasp. Much easier to give them all a name and be done with them. But again back to our purpose, which is that the devas overlap in qualities. Some puranic analogies explain this concept such as Devi Mahatmyam wherre Durga is considered a compilation of the qualities of all the Mahadevas together. And Kali is her daughter. We all know that the next generation is always more terrible than the last. Our children's purpose is to revisit our sins back upon us with interest, a kind of catharsis of the soul if you will (an aside). So it seems to me that the RRbeads can be seen in terms of shakta worship in terms of Dashmahavidya instead of typical Hindu mythos if one relates details together. My first pick is 11 faced for Bagalamukhi because they cure problems of misspeaking mantras and also intensify sadhanas just as does Bagalamukhi. In south India Bagalamukhi yantra is worn alot due to the fact that all people are uttering mantras all the time for benefit and other purposes. People wear Bagala yantra for protection. So also 11 mukhi can be worn for the same purpose. Someone at my job asked if I wore my beads for Buddha but I said no I wear them for psychic protection. In our world many people talk behind our backs and sit around and curse us all the time. I think Bagala Mukhi 11 faced bead is a cure against this attack. Some other correspondences. I read an article which I wish to find again where the person writing says Kali and Agni of the Vedas are the same deity. So also Krishna and Kali have been said to be the same and there is evidence that some murtis of one and ther other deity have switched places in temples over time. If this is the case then either 3 or 10 mouthed beads can be said to be Kali.
