Rudrakshas and Taboos

Hi all, I just came into this fascinating world of Rudrakshas and am

very glad to have a group of such knowledgeable people to discuss

matters with.

 

OK, I have a question!

 

I've heard and read from more than one source that there are certain

times when you are not supposed to wear your rudrakshas, eg:

 

- in toilet during long calls

- when having sexual activity

- during menstrual cycle (if female)

- visiting newborn baby

- at a funeral

- etc.

 

My questions are:

 

1) Why are there such taboos?

 

and more importantly:

 

2) What happens if I accidentally forget, and eg., wear it during a

long toilet break?

 

3) Can I and how do I remedy this?
