Guest guest
Yes, all devas reside in kusha. The purify the space that they are at and make a perfect asana for meditation. Kusha is very holy and poor people can wear a strand of kusha around finger as a wedding band. - rudracentre Tuesday, June 04, 2002 11:05 PM Re: I really want ot discuss 12,13,14 beads Dear KJ Can you tell me about Kusha Grass Mats for Meditation and do not know if am spelling this correctly however gentleman called this date and asked for the Kusa Grass Mats and I was remembering you know about these. I'm making pastries all day long and eating them and my energy level at end of day is almost nill. It's the sugar and 8 hours straight on my feet. Both conspire to make me woozy for rest of evening. Do people have experiences with these beads? I liked what was said about Rudraksha being not just representations of God but God, or the Gods themselves. The concept has no analogy in the West really where Christians and Jews mainly think life is very unspectacular. But in the East which gives us tantra and Vedanta we have learned about unity consciousness where all is one. As such it is not hard in the least to understand that God is on your neck or breast or waist when God is in fact everything. One can then easily see and understand that God exists in a very patent form in the Rudrakshas. But not everyone can stand God consciousness and the realization of being a portion of the Creator because they are scared for life to take off and be unlimited in possibility. Certainly govenrnments don't want people levitating because gasoline wouldn't be any more needed. Economics is a very dead business. Really a form of mortuary understanding. But again for those who can God is always there and this is the main point I want to make. Life is spectacular. There is nothing else, nothing else worth my money, nothing else that I can bank on. Life. I always am thinking that Life is the real miracle, not a virgin birth but birth itself. Yes, the dark ages needed miracles but this enlightened time surely can see that the great diversity of life itself from species to galaxies, all this is a real miracle. In fact, less is a miracle to me in people imagining virgin births that when I look at what the Creator has done. And to guide our footsteps back to the unity and cognizance of God everywhere we have Rudraksha. There are also some other things like RR beads too. Can people name some? I know Shalagrama, what else are there? I rambled on. I wish to speak on 12, 13, 14 faced beads. Maybe later this evening. > > > > Sponsor
