Namste!

Have recently been re-reading Narada's Bhakti Sutras and Bhagavad Gita

and was wondering if there is any documentation on the use of

rudrakshas and the acquistion of increased Bhakti ?

I have been using a mala of 9 mukhi beads for a month now and most

definately my devotion to Shri DurgaMa has increased and it is said

that 9 mukhi increases devotion and will power which of, course is a

part of the Bhakti Path.

Anyone heard more on this subject ???

Om Dum Durgayei Namaha !

Dear Kantiji

The 1 Mukhi Half Moon Shape strung as a center bead in a Head Mala

for Meditation with the 9 Mukhi Goddess Durga Rudraksa on each side

will accelerate and increase the Path of Bhakti for 4 kinds of

devotees listed in A Concise Dictionary of Indian Philosophy by John

Grimes

11 Mukhi Rudraksa and 12 Mukhi Rudraksa can also be added to again

further accelerate process. The 11 Mukhi Lord Hanuman Rudraksa is

considered to be the Light Mass of Lord Rudra and Surya is the

ruleing planet for both the 1 Mukhi Rudraksa and the 12 Mukhi

Rudraksa. This Head Mala affects the Ajna Chakra and Sahasrara Chakra

in a positive life supporting manner

4 kinds of Bhakti Devotees have been described as

Those who hard pressed turn to God for relief

Those who seeking intellectual satisfaction love God to know about God

Those who love God for rewards

Those who love God for loves sake alone

Description would also have to include those who experience one or

more states of Bhakti at the same time

The 1 Mukhi Half Moon Shape Rudraksa influences the Pineal Pituatary

Optic chiasma and Hypothalmus

References state the One Mukhi is Lord Shankara influenceing the

enlightenment of the superconsciousness and giveing the power of

Dharana to the wearer meaning the power to concentrate the mind on an

object. The wearer gets mental structure changed and begins to feel

renunciation from the worldly affairs and naturally inclines towards

GOD. Mind naturally concentrates on Supreme Element. Thus the

discoverers of Aatma Tattva must wear One Mukhi Rudraksa

The 9 Mukhi influences the Pineal and Pituitary

Wearer of 9 Mukhi Goddess Durga gets Blessing from Shakti the Supreme

Mother and by this gets endurance, bravery and courage. Devotion to

GOD increases and will power is strengthened leading to Fearless Life

Reference states practising rituals to worship the Shree Yantra and

the wearing of the 9 Mukhi Rudraksa give both the worldly pleasures

and the salvation

Hope this adds more to the Knowledge

Aum NamaSivaya Sivaya Nama Aum
