> Dear respected Richardji ,

referring to your story about the vandalisation of the sacred Lord Brahma

erawan site.

i've thought long and hard about the matter regarding the aspect of karmma

and seek your esteemed opinion on the matter.that is regards to who

actually would have earned the worst bad karmas from all those involved on

the inauspicious day and actions.

of course one cannot condone the reckless actions of the said 'crazy

Muslim guy'to attack the sacred site.obviously he would have caused

undue distress and unhappiness amongst many of the devoted.

however isn't it possible that he was acting following his past karmmas or

kilesas[past habitual actions] in attacking the shrine.according to Muslim

faith all icons actually act as an impediment between the supreme reality

and the devotee.

I'm not meaning to be disrespectful but,as you know Lord Brahma was/is in

the unenviable position of fulfilling his wish granting boons, and as one

can imagine many of the wishes requested at Erawan would have been for

selfish ,materialsitic gains and only a percentage would have been out of

respect for the supreme reality.

on the other hand those who beat the poor misguided guy to death would

have incurred unbetold bad karmmas for acting out of anger against human

nature and their Buddhist or Hindu faith in taking another's life ,no

matter what his crime.

while i'm not asking for judgement from you,i'm wondering who do you think

would have eanred more severe bad karmas for their violent actions on the

day.[ie .altho all parties involved were caught in maya's sticky web and

acting under delusion, which was the greater sin-the vandalisation ,or the

murder?]

looking fwd to your reply to help clear my mind over the matter,

sincerely respectful
