Guest guest
Dear All, I have posted pics of Kashmiri Sapphires. They are embedded in Ganesha shape and a ring. Kashmiri sapphires are rare types not just because of their quality but because of their scarcity. The old mines in Kashmir are not easily accessible. The total production is just 5 Kg a year which is far lesser then other mines. The other problem is the lab tests. Lab reports do not confirm their origin. Only GIA has a technique which proves the origin. The cost of these original Kashmiri Sapphires is ten times the cost of a Ceylonese sapphire. These stones were cut from raw rough purchased from old mines of Kashmir. I still posses a raw material of fine quality which weighs around 250 Grams. This rough can be tested and proved through GIA. The pearl in the photograph is an original moti with a diamond embedded on the top. The other pearl is a basra pearl in its original shape. It is very old too. For all those who purchase sapphires, they should know that most of the rough received from the mines of Ceylon is heated prior to sending. Heating experts say that this is done in order to increase the price. You can also get rough from Chattisgarh area of MP but those mines are controlled by Mafia or terrorist groups. You can also get good rough in Assam. The ruby rough is available but that rough is sold by Naxalites and one needs a lot of courage to buy it from them. This is very serious problem which is taking place all over India. Alok Jagawat PICS http://ph.sacred-objects/photos/browse/1776?c=

Guest guest
Dear Sir, In natural order Moon and Venus related stones cannot go together. But there are combinations in which they can really effect well. For example if you are born in Libra ascendant and Venus and Moon are present in ascendant itself, then a combination is very fruitful. Natural and temperary significance is sundued by Tatkalic effects. Guest guest
Hi Len, Moon is not enemy with Venus, but Venus IS unfriendly with Moon. So in making a talisman we must see primary intent. If Moon is primary gem then he is not unfriendly with diamond (secondary stone), but if Diamond is primary stone then he isn't friendly with Moon and one shouldn't add pearl. In Sri Navaratna setting the combination of all gems is auspicious because they are set in order of the Nava Graha Yantra.
