Being the 8th moolatrikona lord, it does not bode well where longevity of sustaining a relationship is concerned. It is also said that where one lacks, that's the area where the gemstone draws you to. How is your relationship/partnership aspect? What's the value, if any of that serpentine stone I wish if you would tell me what beautiful yellow calcite stones corespond to /in astro terms/, if at all. Stones related to Planets in Trik houses, or in malefic associations should be avoided. Stones related to planets in Mrityoobhaga, in mritavastha, lords of kendra trikona, in combustion etc should be worn. This increases their dormant powers. But in general even an average astrologer cannot determine which planet is good. Sometimes planets placed in bad houses also affect you in a good way when their stones are worn. ( For example a while coral is good when you have Mars in the eighth house) In karka ascendant Shani is a general malefic. But placed in house fourth it will give you good effect. Hereby you can wear its stone.But its malefic needs to be determined and that can only be done by very good and learned astrologer. As far as personal magnetism for stones are concerned, i have a different opinion. Your intution or AntarShakti can illude you sometime. In my case i was always attracted to Blue Sapphires. Sometimes planets placed in bad houses also affect you in a good way when their stones are worn. Methods I use - work out the Graha Samaya and Yogi and Avayogi. Verify if these are yogadas. An avayogi gives good results if placed in negative rasis - dusthanas or in dagdha rasi. The trines to Yogi planet also help in a powerful display of energies. This seems to be a 'lazy' way to deal with (-)periods, as somebody, I think you said that! Or maybe I just tend to believe, in absence of strong proofs so far maybe?, in prayers, mantras, donations, generosity, help, 'help others where/when in need for help' etc along that line. Professional deformation?maybe, but my personal set-up and experience as well. Amber colour or amber itself? I have nice pieces with yellow hesonite garnet, light, intense yellow-orange I like, but I am not sure if I should wear it, now in Mars MD /Sa antar, or ever? i like it, though. I respect your opinion, please answer these Qs. I am not sure whether you'd encourage me to wear violet colour only /I like it so much/, or that I can wear violet gems like amethyst, beautiful rainbow fluorite...I abstain from that now. You have a special connection with people – perhaps a psychic of sorts with the 8th lord on the ascendant with AL as Jupiter in the 10th from AL, rewards comes with teaching or when you have found your “teacher/Guru” – perhaps through a change in your environment – rather long distance, isn’t it? Marriage and child during Saturn with 8th lord on the ascendant must be a rewarding and introspective time for you where both husband and child are concerned. Much sufferings have had to be realized. I was born during my AK period. So what would I know about sufferings? Our mind only allows us to identify that negative situations are called sufferings, but is it? I believe that we all were born with certain religion for a reason, and conversion is not an option for me . This must be Ju in 9th devotion...
