Guest guest
Dear Sriman, Namaste!!! Thanks for the picture... "These are "Bhadraksha" beads from South India . The names given to them are all man made and find no reference in any books" (ref RR expert). Better use real Rudraksha, specially Nepalese. They are very potent. Guest guest
Namaste Richard, Thank you for your prompt reply and information. Am not familiar with sanskrit and the meaning of "Bhadraksha". The beads are similar to "Sarada" rudrakshas, which some people have called 2-mukhis, except for the ridge which seems to separate from the seed like a trunk, as in some Ganesha rudrakshas. Aum, I. Guest guest
Dear Sriman, Namaskar!!! I am not a Rudraksha expert, and do not know anything about Bhadraksha. I was just conveying information sent to me by a Rudraksa expert in India. Perhaps they can explain further, because they are a very learned source of information. More information on Bhadraksha is needed... Best rgds, Richard sacred-objects, "indivar108" <indivar wrote: > > Namaste Richard, > > Thank you for your prompt reply and information. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Richard, Namaste [not familiar with sanskrit and the meaning of "Bhadraksha".] It means "possessing auspiciousness (and protection)". As we know all rudrakshas are auspicious in their own way, it is possibly a commercial name attached with it. I wrote about rudrakshas and their values (some years ago) and will try and see if I can do the same again for this list. Love, Swee
