Guest guest
Dear Sir The sapphire i have uploaded was purchased quite long ago. I am planning to sell it now. The weight is 2.47 carat and it carries a lab certificate. The color in the photograph is slightly different. In real,It has a rich blue color like a peacock's feather and emits a blue glow when kept in sun light. The price is 67000 Rs per carat. This is already been evaluated by a person in Jaipur. Guest guest
Dear Alok, I took my first lessons in gemology from Jaipur's late Raaj Roop Tank back in 1974. I know Jaipur very well. How many Rs in a US$ now? Your price seems realistic as I live here in Bangkok, The gem capital of the world, and fine gems are costly. I am dismayed when I see companies selling blue sapphire, rubies, etc., claimed to be top quality, 4-5 carat gems for Total $120... this is nonsense and it is certain that such a low cost stone is simply junk. And junk stones are bad luck according to Shastra praman. There is no doubt that clean, gem quality jewels, like sapphire, ruby, emerald, gomeda, etc., they are costly, and for a very cheap price only junk is available. Unfortunately, many people use such junk stones for astrology simply from ignorance. And the results from junk stones are always bad.
