Dear Soul,

 

Namaste!!! Here is the answer: The five heads signify Ganesha's ability to look

for all

possibilities for success. Four of the heads look in the four directions, while

the fifth head

looks inward toward the soul. Also, in Indian mythology, the number five is

important.

This is sometimes attributed to the fact that there are fives senses for humans

(sight,

touch, hearing, taste and smell).
