Guest guest
Dear Sirs, You are absolutely right, that one should not wear conflicting gemstones. The navaratna however includes every gemstone for every graha, so that means that whatever is in your chart will remain but possibly amplified, but there are no imbalances still. However, if you wore a vaidhuria (cat's eye for ketu) with a perl (Moon) then there is a conflict. However, in some traditions they do prescribe gemstones that are mismatched but would asked the native to wear for example a cat's eye on the left hand and a perl on the right - the understanding being that when you wear something on the left, it's being carried out of the body and if you wear something on the right it's being taken into the body. However, according to Pt. Sanjay Rath of the Achyutha Dasa tradition (from orissa) whom i follow, advises to only wear gemstones of positive planets (on the right hand) and not wear anything on the left.
