Question about bogus Lakshmi ShankQ: Most ISKCON temples have "Lightening

Whelks" on the

altar. I have heard from some that this is an accepted exception but I have very

serious doubts. A: Shastra says "bone" is impure, BUT, Conch Shell (Indian

Turbinella Pyrum) is super-pure, even to bath the Deities. Shastra doesn't say

ANY SHELL or EVERY SHELL is pure, it's only Indian Shank (Turbinella Pyrum)

that is pure. And these come in two types, normal left side opening AND special

right side opening (Valampuri Dakshinavarti Turbinella Pyrum). Both are ruled by

Goddess Lakshmi. It is not required to have right-side opening. Left side

(normal) opening Shank is perfect for puja. And Lakshmi Shank is even better

than perfect.BUT, common empty Lightning Whelk, with no internal formation and

no ridges in the conch cavity - this is a bogus non pure shell. Its a fact that

so many Iskcon temples use the non-conch shell in a frenzy of mass ignorance.

And they're doing puja with an impure non-conch shell, simply because they have

all been hood winked by the Indian con men. I myself was hoodwinked back in 1978

and got a lightning Whelk in Sri Lanka. But that was long ago, and I'm a bit

wiser now. But it is so shameful that Iskcon temples use the wrong shell it's

embarrassing to be associated with such foolishness. Only fools will take dog

stool to be same as cow dung just because they have something in common. And in

Iskcon temples they all proudly display the fact that they have been cheated on

a bogus Conch.Fact: The left or right side opening Turbinella Pyrum Indian

Conch - with 3 to 7 ridges in the conch cavity, is the ONLY Shank that is

Vedic. All the rest is Maya. The normal Conch is very low price, even less than

the lightning whelks, and is correct for puja. This means the Iskcon temples are

over paying and getting fooled at the same time. Plus doing puja with a

sapphire websiteIn my possession I have a beautiful yellow sapphire double

Jupiter talisman that Richard made for me. I also have yellow helidor earrings

to match (Richard did an amazing job finding colors that matched). All the gems

in my talismans are unheated and super clean.I, too, looked at the New York

sapphire website. When I would blow up the pictures, I would easily see the

"silk" in the sapphires on the New York website.What I received from Richard is

far superior to anything

I found on that or any other website. People who have seen my talismans have

been truly impressed with the quality and workmanship of Richard's craftsmen

and women.By the way, when I first started investigating Vedic gemology and

before I found Richard, I did a "do it yourself" gem prescription and ended up

with a blue sapphire. So I found one on ebay. Bought it. Filled with "silk".

Then I found Richard and discovered that blue sapphire was definitely NOT for

me. He was very thorough in his explanation of why the yellow sapphire was best

for me.I am grateful to Richard for making all his knowledge and skill available
