Guest guest
Greetings Richard Ji According to me I'm only a collector and it doesn't matter to me whether its shaman produce or not, as long as it comes from the cobra its still a nagamani and there are equally sacred and powerful has the origanls. I'm also one of the very few lucky person in the world to own a cloud pearl and rare sea pearl how about yourself do have one at your musemum for view. So far there is only five cloud pearls in the world. Any comments on these. Regards Ravan
Guest guest
Dear Ravan, We are both collectors. And I am a Gemologist. The point is that the Shaman made glass does NOT come from a Cobra. Artifical Glass cannot form inside organic matter. If it is glass then it is not anything else. Glass is glass. I have uploaded a Gem report (GIT-Lab-report.jpg) into the Rare Pearls folder showing results on the clear kind of Naga Mani like you show. It is artifical glass cooked up by the Shamans in a pot, and is not from any snake. A real Naga Mani cannot be transparent artificial glass. Concerning cloud pearls we heard of them but we never saw one for sure. As a gemologist I can say that if I test a specimen and it is some natural (known) stone or is glass, then that is proof POSITIVE that it is not from a naga or cloud. It is impossible for a real naga mani to be GLASS, just as it is impossible for a real ruby to be GLASS. If it is glass then it is NOT a ruby (regardless what the owner thinks).
