Guest guest
pervaded by Lord Siva. Every form is the form or Linga of Lord Siva. Siva-Linga speaks to you in unmistakable language of silence: “I am one without a second. I am formless.” Pure, pious souls only can understand this language. Linga is only the outward symbol of the formless being, Lord Siva, who is the indivisible, all-pervading, eternal, auspicious, ever-pure, immortal essence of this vast universe, who is the undying soul seated in the chambers of your heart, who is your Indweller, innermost Self or Atman and who is identical with the Supreme Brahman. The following extract is from an ancient Hindu scripture the Kena Upanishad: `The teacher said: `It is the Ear of the ear, the Mind of the mind, the Speech of the speech, the Life of the life, and the Eye of the eye. Having detached the True Self from the sense-organs and renounced the material world, the Wise attain Immortality. The eye does not wander, nor speech, nor the mind. We do not know It; we do not understand how anyone can teach It. It is different from the known; It is above the unknown. Thus we have heard from the preceptors of old who taught It to us. That which cannot be expressed by speech, but by which speech is expressed - That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship. That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended — That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship. That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which sight is perceived — That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship. That which cannot he heard by the ear, but by which hearing is perceived — That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship. That which cannot be smelt by the nose, but by which smell is perceived — That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.` The teacher said: `If you think: "I know Brahman well," then surely you know but little of Its form; you know only Its form as conditioned by man or by demi-gods. Therefore Brahman, even now, is worthy of your inquiry. The disciple said: `I think I know Brahman.` The disciple then said: `I do not think I know It well, nor do I think I do not know It.` He among us who knows the meaning of "Neither do I not know, nor do I know" — knows Brahman. He by whom Brahman is not known, knows It; he by whom It is known, knows It not. It is not known by those who know It; It is known by those who do not know It. Brahman is known when It is realised in every state of mind; for by such Knowledge of the True Self one attains Immortality. By the True Self one obtains fortitude; by Knowledge of the True Self, Immortality. If a man knows the True Self here, he then attains the true goal of life. If he does not know It here, a great destruction awaits him. Having realised the Self in every being, the wise relinquish the material world and become Immortal.`Sivaya Namah yes"> Photos – NEW, now offering a quality print service from just 8p a photo. Guest guest
souls progress in levels depending on the spiritual growth, it is not that a soul after chanting some mantras go and merge in lord shiva and not do anything forever. The journey is a big process like the universe, souls keep progressing, spiritual development and inclination is important so a soul not only grows and develops but also helps self-lessly other souls. Guest guest
The concept of re-incarnation has been conveniently removed from western religions like christianity by some selfish religious leaders. It was there initially. What is important is that the relations we lose here are not lost in real terms, the love and compassion we share is always there in the spirit world, when we lose someone on the earth plane dose not mean we lost them forever, their learning or duty is over and they have gone to a different level for learing. souls can/will meet again. This is reality, if we know this then we will not think of detachment from loved ones, we are all attached. What we need is not detachment from souls but detachment from evil like greed, lust etc. Om namah shivaya, Divakar. --- surinder vaid <sn_vaid wrote: > NAMASKAR, > I have had the opportunity to read a few books > detailing all about the progress of souls in this > world as well as in the World of Souls i.e after > death of the human body.It is a fact that souls are > destined to progress towards evovlement throughout > the life span on earth as well as after death. Guest guest
There is another wonderful book called "Never say Goodbye" by Patrick Mathews, a practicing psychic explains his readings (curroborated by his clients) and shows that souls that have departed really care for their loved ones on earth, how they help souls on earth to get into right path of life. Guest guest
soulscan/will meet again. This is reality, if we know thisthen we will not think of detachment from loved ones,we are all attached. What we need is not detachmentfrom souls but detachment from evil like greed, lustetc.Om namah shivaya,Divakar.--- surinder vaid <sn_vaid > wrote:> NAMASKAR,> I have had the opportunity to read a few books> detailing all about the progress of souls in this> world as well as in the World of Souls i.e after> death of the human body.It is a fact that souls are> destined to progress towards evovlement throughout> the life span on earth as well as after death.
