Dear Sirs

Is there anybody who can give an explanation about the following

mantra: "Om Namo Bhagawate Vasudevay". What does It affect.

Is there a place where I can collect information about it?

It has been given to me by a vedic astrologer which I trust very much

according to my Lagna.

In case is there anyone who is an Astrology intender or expert who can

take a look at my chart. I would like to know a different point of

view. As I'm getting older (45 next June) and not yet married.

Thank you !!

my salutations. OM is Pranavam-made up of 3 letters-A+U+Ma=OM--"A"denotes lord

Vishnu-("Aksharaanaam Akarosmi" -Lord sri Krishna in Bhagavad

Gita)--"oo(U)denotes Lord Siva("Uganaabhya"-sri.Rudram)-Ma denotes many Gods

including Parameswari(Maa). In Rudra Y amala sri.Rama Sahasranaamam all the 1000

names start with the letter Ma Ganam(Ma-Mee-Mu-May-Mai-Mau etc)

- Another way of looking at it is:- VAASYAM

means =all pervasive/all imbibisive-the Parabrahmam(Deva)who is omni

present/omni potent/ omni scient/all pervasive/all imbibisive is "Vaasudeva".

The recitation will brong you prosperity. -------Rajagopalan.

dear shiv bhakts

om namo bhagawate rudraya

this mantra "om namo bhagawate vasudevaya" is called sri krishna

dwadasakshara mantra and figures in Srimadbhagavatam. this mantra

can be recited by men, women irrespective of religion, race, caste

and creed.

the bhagavatam also says "yah saptaraatram prapathaan puman pasyati

khecharaan". if a person recites this continously for seven days

(24x7) he can see the invisible forces and get blessings from them

also.

also this mantra can be recited in any condition or place.

this group is thankful to sri somayaji garu for sharing his

knowledge and i request him to kindly share his knowledge on how to

use rudraam for getting various benefits or getting relief from

various problems e.g. recital of each verse is attributed to bestow

a certain benefit.

in praise of lord shiva and with best wishes

arjun
